Female - Melina - Elden Ring type character
Looking for a female voice actor for a calm, ethereal fantasy character.
The voice should be similar to Melina, heres a video reference Elden Ring - All Melina Dialogues - YouTube
soft, composed, intimate and slightly otherworldly. I am not looking for an exact impression, but Melina is the main vocal reference for the character.
Please note that Elden Ring also has a character named Malenia but Melina is the intended reference.
Voice / performance direction:
Soft and gentle, but not whispery
Calm, restrained and emotionally controlled
Clear, precise pronunciation — every word should remain easy to understand
Light, natural breathiness is welcome, but avoid sounding overly airy
Medium to slightly higher feminine register; not childish or overly youthful
Slow to moderate pacing, with deliberate pauses where appropriate
Subtle emotion rather than exaggerated or theatrical delivery
A refined British/English accent is strongly preferred
The performance should feel intimate, mysterious and sincere
The script uses archaic / old-fashioned fantasy English, including words such as thou, thee, thy, hast, ought, wouldst, foundst, etc. You should be comfortable delivering this kind of dialogue naturally rather than making it sound overly Shakespearean.
The character will sometimes sound gentle and compassionate, while at other moments becoming more solemn, serious or quietly determined. Even in emotional scenes, I would like the performance to remain relatively controlled rather than loud or dramatic.
Reference: Melina from Elden Ring. Listening to several of her dialogue scenes before auditioning is recommended so you can understand the general pacing, softness and restraint I’m looking for.
