Charismatic Serial Killer

I’m looking for a male voice actor, a native English speaker from the U.S. between the ages of 25 and 40, to record approximately 50 lines for a horror video game.

The character is an intelligent but deeply disturbed killer. He wears a hockey mask, is often covered in blood, and carries a butcher knife. I mention his appearance to give a clearer visual idea of the character being portrayed.

He is actively searching for someone who is hiding from him. While speaking, imagine that he is looking around, checking corners, listening for movement, and constantly reacting to his surroundings. He should feel mentally present in the situation, never relaxed or detached.

I’m particularly interested in a wide and somewhat erratic emotional range. He can be curious, controlled, sarcastic, or quietly threatening one moment, then suddenly become highly irritated, frustrated, aggressive, or briefly lose control. His mood can shift quickly, sometimes even within the same sentence. He is intelligent, but not emotionally stable or predictable.

The delivery should feel natural and spontaneous. I’m not looking for an exaggeratedly deep, slow, theatrical “villain” voice or constant dramatic pauses. Changes in volume, pace, whispers, anger, and sudden outbursts should come naturally from what the character is experiencing.

You can choose your favorite line and perform it in several different ways. From those interpretations, we can choose the direction that works best for the rest of the lines.

Some lines involve dark humor, intimidation, sarcasm, threats, and intense anger, so the actor should be comfortable performing this kind of material.

Requirements:

• Native American English speaker

• Male voice, approximately 25–40 years old

• Around 50 lines

• Clean audio with minimal background noise

• Ability to perform multiple emotional intensities while keeping the same character voice
