Sorry for the rant, recently society has been making me feel both, like an alien and an illegal immigrant. Despite my ranting I actually do have a portfolio and a list of skills down below.
I've been really depressed lately because I feel like no matter how hard I work or try to share my abilities, nobody cares. When I try to proactively share, I get gatekept out for not being the oldest and closest friend to some loser subreddit community. I live and travel nomadically and reside outside of civilization because society is like the movie idiocracy if it was a horror film. I spend 99% of my time alone in the middle of nowhere working on things that I care a lot about but will probably never see the light of day because I am NOT a "marketable" person and because of that I must be punished by this lousy greedy world and all the vacuous, shallow minded people who give toxic social influencers the millions of views and subscriber count that they, for all intensive purposes, DO NOT DESERVE AT ALL. If your most valued quality is your physical appearance, then congratulations, you have accomplished nothing with your life and this world is rewarding you handsomely for it because the minds of the people who reside within it are effectively BROKEN by mass media and the institutional machines set in place by politicians who are lobbied and financed by large businesses. The INSIDIOUS entities who hire psychologists to help them figure out how to take advantage of the antiquated human instincts left over from living as tribes in the wild more than 10,000 years ago.
If you have read this far then you might understand why I don't have the largest portfolio. Despite my curiosities driving me to learn about advanced concepts on a daily basis, my inability to "belong" in society and my inability to share my creations on the internet and have them actually be seen without getting toxically gatekept has put me into a "why bother, no one will want to see it." attitude for the last decade.
My skills are:
I can do more voices than I can count.
I can model, texture and rig in 3D and I can create modular assets and props.
I know a wide variety of advanced video editing techniques. (custom cross fades, superimposition, masking and green screen transparency, etc.)
I have been doing advanced image editing for over 20 years.
General animation. I do not have a vector animation program (other than grease pencil in blender) but I am well learned in the art of animation, 2d, 3d and stop motion. (I do not recommend hiring me exclusively as an animator because animation is more time consuming than my other skills but if your animations are short or your characters are 2d or 3d models with rigged pieces then I will be more willing to take on the job.)
I can script game logic in godot.
I can develop efficient and simplified rulebooks for card games and tabletop games.
I can develop templates for trading card games and other projects that rely on consistency.
I can write, score, record and mix music and other forms of audio like voice work.
I can review and rewrite scripts to make dialogue more effective and curb inconsistencies and fix plot holes.
I also made a small collection of really stupid short films in 2017.
Also, is everyone who seeks talent on this site a child who can't bother to listen to all the auditions? Everyone keeps choosing people who are way worse than me at voice acting. I feel like some shady shit is going on. (also the fact that you can't post basic photos on your profile without a premium is a really petty design choice and it only encourages me to NOT give this site money.)
I have super high functioning autism and it's really difficult to cope with.
