Lady Ann Trevors

This role is a woman in late mid 50s to mid 60s. she is a woman of elegance, quiet wit, someone who has learned to wear composure like a second skin.

She is sharp enough to recognize Richard the moment she sits beside him, yet wise enough to let the conversation unfold. Her humor is dry and subtle, her emotion revealed only in the smallest cracks: a quickly brushed tear, a slight quiver in her voice, a too-careful pause before answering. She is very patient.

Ann is not bitter. When recognition finally comes and the walls come down, there is warmth and even gentle amusement in how she receives it.

There is not really a need to overplay any type of voice. It is set in the 1920s. So feel free to play with the feel and voice type. Whatever you think is natural.
