Davis - Male Lead (Paid)

Age: 18-22

Voice Type: Conversational, thoughtful, sincere

Description:

Davis is a college student and aspiring theatre professional spending two weeks as a temporary groundskeeper at a summer camp. Intelligent, observant, and quietly humorous, he often finds himself caught between what he thinks, what he feels, and what he is willing to say out loud.

Unlike many traditional visual novel protagonists, Davis is not overly confident or sarcastic. He is empathetic, introspective, and deeply human, approaching the people around him with curiosity and compassion. Throughout the story, he experiences moments of comedy, romance, mystery, fear, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

The role includes both spoken dialogue and narration. The actor must be capable of carrying scenes through internal monologue, conveying subtle emotional shifts, and making the audience feel as though they are experiencing events through Davis's eyes.

Strong acting and storytelling ability are preferred over a specific voice type.

Audition Notes:

Natural performances are preferred over exaggerated anime-style delivery. The role requires strong narration skills as well as emotional range.Subtlety is important; many of Davis's most important moments are quiet rather than dramatic.
