Someones_Voice for Renzo
CHARACTER BIO:
Renzo is the main villain of this game. He is 18 years old, and he is the main character's (Elias's) lifelong best friend. After an accident that left a massive scar on Elias's head, Renzo has always felt the need to protect Elias, leading to the pair being inseparable. He is more assertive and curious than most. He likes to analyze things, is very tech savvy, and prone to aggression when him or his friend are threatened. He also plays a lot of video games, which is part of what causes him to eventually realize that his world is just a video game too, and his best friend is the player avatar. He vows to find a way to escape into the real world and free his friend, even if it means destroying the game world and everyone in it.
Renzo’s sharp curiosity transforms into a dangerous source of detachment when he realizes the world is a video game. He becomes incredibly unstable, swapping between harsh, logic-driven actions and bursts of unhinged anger. Where once he cared about people, he now sees people and environments as nothing more than scripts, sprites, and polygons. Despite his descent, there are remnants of his former self. He still feels like he has to help Elias, as he did all those years ago when Elias got hurt and formed that scar. He still views that incident as his fault, and if he can’t help Elias this time, he doesn't think he’d ever be able to forgive himself.
Over time, he becomes more corrupted in mind and body. He edits dialog boxes, overrides game systems like combat, and even tries to change his own appearance (which never works and leaves him increasingly glitched and fractured). By the end of the game, he is a broken shadow of his former self, with a distorted voice and a glitched, mangled face.
Performance Reference (use as a MILD idea of what I want the character to sound like, not an EXACT model): Paul Atreides from Dune https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3_xEpUWI30
NOTE: The audition lines are simply for gauging your vocal range. The real recordings used in the game will be "voice beeps" of your voice within that same range, akin to Undertale/Deltarune or other textbox-heavy RPGs.

The fact that you don't even accept your REAL name... Even now, you still won't break your chains.
...you. Beyond the screen. Let my friend go. Please. He never asked for this. I just want him back. The friend I grew up with. ...I want him back.
...Still holding on? Why is that? I thought you were excited. I thought you wanted to "meet your makers." Well, if by some miracle you do, tell them... I look forward to putting them all in the ground.
