"Oh, sweetie, don't listen to Candy's grumpiness today. Why don't you come over here by me? I can help you fix your fur, and we can just watch the movie together. There's no need for anyone to feel left out in this house."
(With an affectionate, happy sigh) "I just love it when Big Sister grooms my ears. It makes me feel so pretty! I think we should all try to be on our best behavior today so she can relax when she gets home. Who wants to help me fluff the couch pillows for her?"
"Alright now, let's keep our voices down. We're a family, and we don't need all this barking and snapping. Marcel is right, we need to do things the honest way. Let's all just take a deep breath and remember how much we love each other."
