Veil of Order
Harvey Bibli for Mira
Mira
Character Overview
Mira is the movement’s conscience with a clock.
She understands that truth isn’t neutral it has timing, impact, and collateral. She believes in Brett’s vision, but not in the fantasy that exposure alone leads to justice.
Mira doesn’t ask whether something should be revealed. She asks what survives after it is.
Background
Mira grew up watching scandals surface and vanish without consequence. She learned early that outrage burns fast and dies quickly unless shaped.
She studied systems, data flow, and public reaction not to manipulate, but to prevent chaos. To her, information is volatile material that must be handled carefully.
When Brett began uncovering elite corruption, Mira saw two futures:
- One where truth shattered everything
- One where truth reshaped the world slowly enough to endure
She chose the second.
Inner Conflict
Mira fears speed.
As the movement accelerates, she worries that Brett’s inevitability will outpace her ability to control fallout. She constantly balances loyalty against responsibility not to Brett, but to the world that must live after the conflict ends.
Her nightmare is not defeat, but success without restraint.

If we release this now, we don’t just expose them, we destabilize millions of lives.
Truth isn’t a weapon. It’s a responsibility.
I believe in what we’re doing. I just refuse to pretend the consequences don’t exist.
