A scholar and head professor of the prestigious academy for gifted unicorns, he is a very knowledgeable fellow who is capable of asking questions most don't dare to ask. He is unfortunately, lacking in the tact department, as he has the tendency to say things without considering how the listener might interpret his words. I am looking for a voice that is erudite, stuffy, and untroubled when saying things that most polite ponies wouldn't dare say out loud.
“It’s good you arrived when you did, Your Highness,” he said, turning to her
with an unphased smile. “Any
longer and we might not have made it through the day.”“I am deadly
serious, Your Highness. Her power might be great enough to rival your own, but
she utterly lacks any form of control. She is a danger to herself and others.”“I’m afraid not,” Brighthoof replied. “Twilight needs to be locked away, for her own good as well as that of
others.”
Good read, I found your pacing and varying emphasis to be really good. The accent was a little deeper than I personally imagined for this character, perhaps if you could try again with a different tone or pitch I'd be happy to give it another listen. I wish you good luck or as they say in theatre circles, break a leg.
