Bartruvious is the definition of "dangerously intelligent." He is a sorcerer who views the world as a stepping stone to his own ascension. His voice should drip with sarcasm and spite. We aren't looking for a "brute" villain, but rather a sophisticated, theatrical one. Someone who thinks of themselves as better than everyone else. The actor should be able to balance high-stakes maniacal energy with a cold, condescending wit. Think of someone who finds his enemies' struggles more amusing than threatening.
