Monokuma is the sinister robotic bear mascot and primary antagonist of the Danganronpa series, appearing as a black-and-white teddy bear split down the middle, symbolizing good and evil, despair and hope. His right side is innocent-looking and white, while his left is menacing black with a jagged eye and evil grin, initiating deadly "killing games" as the self-proclaimed Headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy to spread despair.
