Deferred: Agreed Amount
Role assigned to: Ashby Garst

Voice type: Warm, sweet edged with a bit of danger. Composed like a lady of old (southern belle like, a bit of Miss Fortune). Sweet but irresistibly suggestive tone and way of speech.

Luxe reached out, screamed, fought, and cried for a soul to truly see or hear hers. When no one did, the Veil came to her in dreams to coax the dormant embers that lied in her heart. Sole audience to the inferno yet to rage. With closed eyes, she learned to truly hear and see. In dreams, she found solace, strength, and the truths of what was beyond. She listened to the whispers of those drawn to her essence and the warmth she emanated. These were the echoes of those beyond the Veil. In life. her beauty affords her the gaze, attentions, affection, and even the ire of those in places of power. Over time, she learned to become ultimate puppet master, whose strings are woven from affection and aspiration rather than outright fear or overt subjugation. Her power lies in shaping the reality, desires, and beliefs of others, making opposition seem unnatural or non-existent. Luxe is what lies in the gap between objective truth and the controlled "reality." The difficult process of uncovering and understanding. They finds that their ability to shape fundamental human desires and beliefs calls into question the very nature of agency and free will for everyone around them. She sees the world as it is but also takes on the duty of challenging the 'is' with the 'ought,'.

  • If you angry with me, good. That means you think it was still your choice.

  • (seductive, dangerously sweet) I know how it sounds but...you're safe with me. (beat) Oh you misunderstand sweetheart. I didn't say NOTHING bad would happen...I just said you wouldn't be alone when you did. I've seen young men with power before. You don't need protection. You need a witness. Someone who stays...even when they see everything.

  • The true levers of the world aren't the ones you can see. The 'strong' and the 'resolute' are merely the most distracted, blinded by their own might, deafened to the silent cries of the lost and the forgotten. They mistake their ambition for virtue, their indifference for strength. For them, the way the world is right now, today, is not an inevitability. Existence is not justification. I have listened to the whispers and echoes of those the world has left behind. I have seen the truth. I have seen your end.
