Archie Sonic Online (ASO) is seeking additional musicians to help create custom musical pieces to go with our comic dubs. We also would like multiple musicians so we can mix-and-match varying styles of music. No audio should be directly sourced from any pre-existing media (Sonic or otherwise). Instead, compositions are highly encouraged to be new recordings utilizing game composition "sounds", music from AOSTH, and from SatAM. AKA - The musician(s) can make all-new pieces, but can take inspiration from the sounds of Sonic media (like composing remixes or alternative takes of Sonic musical pieces, such as a remix take on Emerald Hill Zone). Or, these pieces do not need to be 1:1 matches to any original song, but can be remixes, manipulations, originals, etc, to fit a scene in the comic dubs. All music (remixes or originals) should stylistically match with pre-existing Sonic media. This can be very broad, given how varied music is across the entire Sonic franchise.

Other examples: Music pieces could match orchestration like with Forces, techno like Rush, rock like Adventure, sound boards like the Genesis games, etc. If the pieces match with some pre-existing Sonic sensibilities, it should be fine.

ASO prefers not to use royalty free music. What software and methods musicians use is no issue to ASO, as long as the musicians can work together to cross-import pieces and make alterations to them as needed. All finished music should be submitted in WAV format.

PLEASE NOTE: Musicians may need to tweak some timing on the finished comic dub audio sequences. These sequences are the voices set for the dub. Any tweaking will be super minor, like moving a voice 1-2 seconds forward so timing/pacing works better with music. The voices audio sequence will be provided as timed out stems for each of the characters.

This is an ongoing role that will need time and attention every few months. It takes us at least a few months between each dub.
