Mau is Elias' first mate. They are a strong, no nonsense, yet warm person. They start out with a more masculine in voice (except when alone with Elias at the beginning) but throughout the series they slowly lighten their voice up showing her true self to more and more people.

I would like someone who can speak Egyptian Arabic and can throw some of the mannerism/slang/wording into their speech, but it is not mandatory.

If at all possible I'd like the mescaline voice to sound as natural as possible. Mau has been using this voice for literally a decade at the start of the story.

  • Aya Aya, Captain! (Both mescaline and famine vocal range)

  • Captain, that wouldn’t have fired. (unamused, mater of fact tone. famine)

  • Vincent, take it easy on her. She's obviously not uses to this kind of work. (Authoritative. Masc.)
