MURDER DRONES: SYSTEM FAILURE
ItzSyclone for KHAN DOORMAN
Khan is Uzi’s father, the overprotective and often clueless “dad figure.” He means well, but his attempts at guidance often come across as awkward or overly cautious. He’s not a fighter — he’s a survivor, a drone who just wants his daughter to be safe in a world that constantly threatens her.
Khan is the embodiment of the “embarrassing dad” trope. He’s dorky, anxious, and sometimes undermines himself with nervous humor. But his love for Uzi is undeniable. Even when he doesn’t understand her struggles, he tries — and that effort, however awkward, makes him endearing.
Voice Description:Tone: Medium to medium-low, slightly nerdy. Warm, but often anxious or flustered.
Style: Casual and awkward, prone to muttering or stumbling over his words.
Range:
Dorky Dad Humor – goofy comments, oblivious lines.
Worried / Protective – emotional when Uzi is in danger.
Awkward Seriousness – trying to be wise or commanding but coming off clumsy.
Delivery: Should sound like a nervous dad trying (and failing) to play it cool.
(flirty-like) “Oh, it’s exactly what it looks like.”
(a “mmhm” attitude): “That’s what they always say.”
(only to Nori): “I don’t know, I kinda wanna stay.” (After Uzi’s line “DAD!!”) (Quickly) "Yep. Backing away slowly now.” (Sipping his mug)
Santa?
Your voice is by default really close to Khans. I love it!
