The more serious, slightly difficult friend of the player. He also receives his Pokémon from Professor A. Juniper. Cheren serves as a personality foil to Bianca. He can be a bit off-putting and judgemental, but it’s never in a malicious manner. Through his own Pokémon journey and meeting with Champion Alder, he strives to learn what it means to be truly strong.

I am looking for a medium-low to medium voice that showcases a single-minded pursuit towards a goal and a knack for strategy without being overbearing. His voice shouldn’t be too heavy, but still grounded, firm, and forward.

[Frustrated and pondering the reason for his defeat.] Why do you keep beating me? We have the same number of Gym Badges. We should be equals in strength…
[Reaffirming his new worldview and encouraging the player, with a bit of warning as well.] The most important thing is that we help one another out.
