Assistant Writer/Producer ($60 USD per Episode)

Overview:
Strange Scribe Studios is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Writer/Producer to join our creative team for the queer, slice-of-life, drama-romance audio project Twilight Is A Beautiful Hour. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about storytelling and eager to grow within the industry, with the potential to move into a full salaried position in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing Support: Assist in brainstorming, drafting, and revising scripts under the guidance of the Screenwriter.
• Production Collaboration: Participate in writing meetings with the staff to discuss story arcs, character development, and episode structure.
• Practice Reads: Listen in to and provide feedback during practice reads over Discord, ensuring that dialogue and pacing align with the creative vision.
• Coordination: Work closely with the Director and Screenwriter, who operate on Pacific Standard Time (PST). Applicants must be available to collaborate and attend meetings within the PST schedule.
• Project Administration: Help manage production schedules, maintain organized records of revisions and meeting notes, and coordinate with other departments as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Pay: $60 per Episode ($120 per month, average.)
• Bonus Structure: Bonus payments will be issued at the end of each season based on ad revenue and merchandise sales performance.
• Pay Review: The pay rate is negotiable at the end of every season, based on performance and project success.
• Growth Opportunity: This role offers the potential to transition into a full salaried position within Strange Scribe Studios.

Requirements:

• Must be available to work on a schedule that aligns with the PST time zone (Screenwriter and Director based in PST).
• Comfortable participating in remote sessions and collaborative meetings over Discord.
• Strong passion for storytelling, creative writing, and audio production.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, creative team environment.
