Role assigned to: Nyra

Age: 19

Pronouns: She/her

Significance: Supporting

First Appearance: Episode 2

Main Traits: Arrogant, self-righteous, mean

General Info: Sasha is a 19-year-old dancer and the captain of the rival dance team, competing directly against Caesar's team. Driven by a desire to prove her worth to those who have judged her, she uses her dancing as a way to show everyone what they are missing. She’s also in a relationship with Daniel Mason, though she struggles with jealousy, particularly regarding Mia's presence on Caesar's team.

Backstory: Sasha faced a lot of criticism growing up, especially for her weight. In her quest to please others, she pushed herself to change, but when the validation she sought didn’t come, she became disillusioned and stopped trying to fit other people’s standards. Her past has fueled her desire to prove herself, often in harsh ways.

Personality: Sasha is the quintessential “mean girl.” She has a tough exterior, believing herself to be the center of the world, and uses her arrogance as a shield to mask her insecurities. While she can be cruel and self-righteous, deep down, her motivation stems from a fear of being overlooked and a desire to validate herself in the eyes of others. She’s also extremely competitive and doesn’t take kindly to perceived threats, like Mia's involvement with Caesar's team.

  • (with a smirk) Did you really think you could forget about me, Caesar?

  • (snickering) Do I look like I’d agree to that? Silver, we compete against each other next year. And… no, the principal himself knows that the sports hall is THE place for MY team.

  • (in a smug tone) What you’re doing is calmly leaving this room. Thank you. (to her team) Girlies, we can start.
