Alfred Pennyworth is the faithful servant of the Wayne family. He has served them for decades, and became the guardian of Bruce Wayne when his parents were murdered. Now he reluctantly assists Bruce in his work as Gotham's vigilante Batman, manning the Batcomputer as Batman stalks the shadows to protect the city from the ever present criminal element.
Alfred is a main character. He appears in at least one scene in all nine episodes.
