Watchdog never thought he'd end up becoming a Spartan. For most of his adult life he worked as a for-hire bodyguard for high end VIPs. Billionaires, Politicians, Crime Lords, Business Sharks or whoever could afford one of Earth's most effective protectors. However, one bad job and a UNSC staged setup landed him right in the Spartan IV program.

He would tell you that it beats the hell out of chipping away the glass on Meridian, his only other alternative.

His voice is a tad more gruff. He is large in character but quiet in the grander scheme of conversation.
