Strath is an older owl gentleman, perhaps in his 40’s. Doesn’t necessarily need to sound all that old, just mature and with a calm demeanor. He’s just tryin to have a cup of coffee, but is nice enough to chat with Herba about how Heima (the city they’re in) has changed over the years. Strath is a background role and pays $10!

Herba: “Man… things were so different back then, huh? I bet Heima looks nothing like it used to!”
Strath: “Yeah yeah. Time flies whether you’re lookin’ or not. Keep your ears to the ground, kid.”
He glances at his wristwatch, “Speaking of ‘time’…” to himself

Herba: “So—wait, what about your brother? You said that he—!?”
Strath looks at his watch again and gets up: “Look, it’s nice chatting, but I really do gotta go.”

Herba sees this and realizes he was holding Strath hostage, friend hostage. He’s embarrassed.

Herba: “Ah! I-I’m sorry, if I uh, held you up. See you next time?”
Strath is silent for a beat, then exits, dismissively says “Sure, kid…”
