A youthful male alien from a militaristic planet far across the galaxy. As his name is unpronounceable in English, he is simply called "Alien", or "Al", by the two women who found him and his crash-landed ship.  Somewhat monotone, as he's been trained to bury his emotions, but he's learning.  Can be stiff and analytical, but also innocent and childlike.  Has a wide vocabulary and uses big words a lot.

Tone-wise, think L from Death Note with some naive and heartfelt charm thrown in.   A less gremlin-like version of Peridot from Steven Universe in the sense that everything human is new to him, and he speaks a bit stiffly at times.  Has a silky kind of voice, but feel free to experiment with some vocal fry!

2-3 takes with different inflections for the first two lines, and 1-2 takes for the monologue.

Feel free to take liberties with the deliveries outside of the parenthesis given!

Hi Tyler! We wanted to let you know: You have a GREAT voice! For this character, we were wondering if you could soften the edges of your voice a bit, and give it an almost muttering quality, like you're talking to someone right up close to you. We loved your last take of "On my homeplanet" and the last 2 takes of "I struggle to ascertain the importance of this"-- if you could take the energy you brought to those deliveries and make your take on Alien even smoother/silkier than those takes were, we would love to hear it.
