The objective is not to sound like you are reading; you're supposed to be retelling a story. I expect you to edit your work.

  • Of what use was it to be loved and lose one's beauty and become Real if it all ended like this? And a tear, a real tear, trickled down his little shabby velvet nose and fell to the ground.

And then a strange thing happened. For where the tear had fallen a flower grew out of the ground, a mysterious flower, not at all like any that grew in the garden. It had slender green leaves the colour of emeralds, and in the centre of the leaves a blossom like a golden cup. It was so beautiful that the little Rabbit forgot to cry, and just lay there watching it. And presently the blossom opened, and out of it there stepped a fairy.

  • She was quite the loveliest fairy in the whole world. Her dress was of pearl and dew-drops, and there were flowers round her neck and in her hair, and her face was like the most perfect flower of all. And she came close to the little Rabbit and gathered him up in her arms and kissed him on his velveteen nose that was all damp from crying.

"Little Rabbit," she said, "don't you know who I am?

"The Rabbit looked up at her, and it seemed to him that he had seen her face before, but he couldn't think where.

  • "I am the nursery magic Fairy," she said. "I take care of all the playthings that the children have loved. When they are old and worn out and the children don't need them any more, then I come and take them away with me and turn them into Real."

"Wasn't I Real before?" asked the little Rabbit.

"You were Real to the Boy," the Fairy said, "because he loved you. Now you shall be Real to every one."

I noticed the price dropped from the last audition immediately before this one, lol. I am curious to find out if anything else has changed. If I did not mention it before, "[...] that was all damp from crying" was good, too. Ok, same one. I think that is the sound of your phone on vibrate now that I hear it for the third time, lol. Also, try cutting the pauses in half.

The drop in bid it simply because I...forgot to change it beforehand. I uploaded this version immediately after realising my mistake. So, I feel the need to apologise, I'm recovering from a winter bug right now, and so I'm struggling not to sound ill but, it's not quite working, as you can tell. If you wouldn't mind, I'll more than happily make a second attempt now that I sound better, taking into account your comments as to where I can improve. I just want you to be sure about whether you want to consider me or not.

Ah. Sure. You could also wait until you feel better, too. And I already offered you an invitation to be a part of our cast. But to be clear, the reward is for your winning audition and you will receive that regardless of whether or not you are willing to volunteer your voice for the show, as we all do and of course I will continue to coach you, as needed.

I find it interesting that on your profile, under skills, you wrote: "successful as an agent rather than an actor.

Oh that? Simple put I didn't have much confidence in my own performance at the time, I wasn't landing any roles so, instead I was finding roles perfect for my friends. I've emailed a retry of this script ([email protected])

Ahh, that was you who sent that e-mail. I was wondering if you wanted me to provide feedback or not.

            If you'd like to, sure!!

Pretty much perfect. You did have trouble enunciating the word 'little' once or twice. I have difficulty w/it, too. The issue is "li'l" is easier to say. Try to keep in mind that it has two syllables. You will hear me say "lit-tal" if you listen to my instructional video on the top of the Casting Call. I believe you are capable of a better read, not that this one is bad. It is the difference between being good and great. The only way to get that is w/practice, which this project will provide you plenty of, assuming you are willing to volunteer your voice like the rest of us. You will win the offered reward regardless. If you are to proceed w/my coaching you, I would challenge you to do multiple takes of lines until you nail them, like you did w/"was all damp from crying". Please let me know if you are interested. Keep up the good work !!
