Originally a no-name thief Darkbringer has gained the powers of darkness in order to spread the gospel of eternal misery. As the name suggest he’s the counter force to Lightbringer not only in powers but also in his cruel personality though both are equally devoted to their causes.
[The Smiling Man shows his home world Darkbringer which he has enslaved.] “I do not approve of this at all. Perpetually grinning, forever locked in a state of horrific bliss and unable to escape into other thoughts… The Darkness teaches us that happiness is a gateway to perversion and decay.”
[Darkbringer has ambushed Lightbringer in an arena specifically designed against him.] “There will be no sun drained, no light drawn as your protection. Welcome to your tomb – a hollow asteroid in the darkness of space.”
[Darkbringer is facing against Dasien.] “This is pointless, you know. Your escape… your cause… your entire life… Meaningless and Futile.”
