*Gender Flexible Casting* 26 years old. Algernon is the more irresponsible sibling between him and his brother Jack, with an appetite for life that is only matched in intensity by his ability to move at incredible speeds. He is often smarmy and self-centered, and cowardly in the face of danger. Still, he can be incredibly noble and courageous when the situation demands. (Note: Like his brother, he does not speak in a stereotypical “New York” accent, even though that's where he is from.)
(*Meeting and flirting with another member of Heinous Investigations*) Hello there. Algernon Graham. Fastest man alive. How are you?
(*Meeting another investigator*) Oh, my brother already complained about me to you. Good to know he ruined my first impression.
(*Hearing about the investigators’ plan to go on a dangerous treasure hunt.*) Now we’re getting somewhere! Shall we discuss who gets what cut of the treasure, or should we wait until we find it? Because...I’m not so sure everybody’s gonna make it out in one piece, if you know what I mean.
As for me, I teach math for a living, and I do digital art as a hobby. This summer, I’ve also started dabbling in tradigital animation. Frequently, I also practice singing on Smule; I find it good warm-up for voice acting. I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy/adventure, and animation! Hazbin Hotel and Into the Spiderverse were the two animations that rocked my world recently. Oh, and Daria Cohen’s Vampair series. :) These days, I alternate between listening to jazz and electroswing and listening to podcasts on cultural and political issues while I do my art. I occasionally watch movies via zoom with my boyfriend.
