Project Overview
Okay so to start off, I'd like to thank you for even bothering showing up to my casting call! Hopefully you'll like what you see here.
Here's a reminder for those who might have missed it, I'm an artist that draws comics and stuff, mostly around the theme of Pokémon.
My stories typically take place in alternate universes where scientists are attention to close the gap between humans and Pokémon through genetic manipulation.
This is a side comic project and can be seen as a variant of my PocketTrouble!! Casting project (which is still on going)
It's typically slice of life and humor related for now but I'm already widening my horizon, this project being part of my plan.
A FAIR WARNING THOUGH,this project is basically a "never-ending" story really until said otherwise, the same way long running soap-operas are still a thing or popular shonen anime can live a while. Since my comics rarely are super dialogue heavy and asks posts can be as long as we need team to be, I'll never really require a huge block of lines on ridiculous deadlines so it should be manageable even with other projects.
Since I'm the one that'll be drawing the art and handling the casting, the video posting speed obviously won't be anything to write home about for the time being which should give a decent enough margin to work with. Although finally getting an video editor clearly helps now.
Once I cast you, you'll pretty much become the character. So I want to avoid recasts as much as possible. Nothing would be more immersion breaking than the same character changing voices every 3 comics, so please... don't partake on this journey if you can't commit. I beg of you ;v;
Story details will be added into the characters descriptions. (Some weirdness may appear, be warned.)

Can I trust you and your content? What kind of quality can I expect from your project?
Easy! Just take a look on my completed work bar. And you can bet that it'll only get bigger from here on out.
"About the Money?"
- The pays listed are just for the initial casting until I get more of an earning thanks to my art and videos, hope you understand that I'm just a humble dude not made out of cash.
- Although please note that I send payment via PayPal. If you don't have one of those, I'll be unable to pay you unfortunately.
"Is my Microphone Quality good enough?"
- Clear and distinguishable voices with little to no echoing and noise, which typically goes USB mics and up, with exceptions of course. I know some built in mics can be pretty good.
- I'll be pretty uncompromising on that considering I'll be taking money out of my very personal pockets to pay my actors.
"Why is there an empty role in the Casting Call"
- This is just the initial line up! Other character should be up soon!
- So it's just to give a heads up that there is more to come.
"Will I get paid more in the future?"
"How long is this project going to take?"
"How much commitment will I have to pour into this?"
- You shouldn't audition just for the pay, but because you like voice acting and (or) see potential in this project to grow. This is really important because the payment will mainly depend on the success of the project. If you are not ready to a while without getting paid a bunch then... it pains me to say but please. leave. I can't promise success, but let's all have fun with this and see where the road take us!
- Although thanks to Patreon and donations, I have been able to pay my actors a modest amount so far.
"I've read through all the boring stuff, can the fun start now?!?"
- Hahaha! Yeah! This was painful to type! Have fun auditioning to your heart's content and hope you get the role!

YAH-Noo-Nah
Yanuna was human. Sadly due to forceful experiments on their person that were proved successful (and very much painful), they have been turned into a Pokémon with amnesia of their past life. It would also be fair to note that in my canon, Zeraora is an artificial Pokémon, not unlike Genesect. After over two years of torture and non-stop experimentation, he finally managed to escape from captivity with the help of the scientist Felisha, who ends up adopting him.
Personality and details:
Due the painful upbringing of his new Pokémon life, his personality one of slyness, pragmatism and being quite the realist (borderline nihilistic). His humor and delivery are very dry and witty, without it sounding wrist-cutting edgy or forced. Despite his aloof and detached demeanor, he's quite the tsundere with the other two girls as he's slowly learning to open up and trust others. Although I'd like to mention that's he's still prone to emotional outbursts of the angry kind.
Yanuna has both a casual voice and a "forced" one. The former should sound natural, while the other strains him. Despite being a Pokémon now, his vocal chords can still mostly emulate human speech although in quite the raspy and disjointed fashion (imagine someone with a speech impediment). Mythical Pokémon are genderless, so I'm fine with both males and females (mid-range and deeper) giving this role a shot despite Yanuna usually going by he/him (and they/them).
Yeah they're quite the demanding character, sorry... haha. It was pointed out to me that he has 20 yr-old smoker dialogue. Take that for that you will. XP
So after a bit of digging, Johnny Yong Bosch's take on Nero might be a good place to start.
Outside voice, heard by a human. Casual and should sound natural.

Snarky and teasing, got caught redheaded bullying Pardonne: "Ze- ze- ze- ze~"
Dry/fed-up: "Zera... Zera- ora."
Flustered: "ZERA!- HISSSSSSSSS!"
Outside voice trying to speak English. Slightly raspy and should sound forced, almost toddler-like.
Trying to speak english, almost toddler-like: "iii Lieek- *Yawn* Boo-Oraaaaaah!""ThAnk... YoU..."
Flat/Deadpan stare, said in one go without pause: "I doN't hAte yOu."
Outside voice as heard by another Pokémon/Inner voice. Casual and should sound natural.
Extremely passive aggressive: "I've has been living here for a few weeks already...That annoying Braixen just doesn't seem to get a clue. It's everywhere I look." Growing increasingly bitter with every sentence: "For the past few days or so, the human lady thought sparring with it would make for a good bonding experience... Making up for all the times I've "needlessly" picked on it."
A very sensitive chord has been touched and he's losing his mind: "Know me?... KNOW ME?! Hahahah HAHAHAHA! YOU WANT TO KNOW ME BETTER?!! YOU CREATED ME!!!"
Melancholic but slowly warming up, being an emotionally deaf dork: "Sorry for trying to leave. [...] Maybe... Sticking around might be worth it... if you're here."
Feh-lee-SHA
One of the scientists that worked on the project that turned Yanuna and Pardonne into Pokémon, but helped the two of them escape. Now a fugitive from her old coworkers and patrons, she decided to raise the two ex-test subjects. She's he grounded rational one in a sea of crazy, red fire and blue electricity.
Personality and Details:
She's an Alola native, so a slight Hawaiian accent would be nice but isn't mandatory (Nailing the accent may warrant bonus pay). She started out as a shy soft spoken lass, giving off some mistreated intern vibes, but having to be the caretaker for such turbulent Pokémon on her own has taught her how to yell and be more assertive. So she can scream and get upset when she has to. She overworks herself in her makeshift lab a whole lot, trying to find a way to turn Yanuna back into a human, so maybe a slight tiredness to her voice could be appropriate.
Someone recommended something around the lines of Laura Bailey and I can kind of see it.
Clearly unhappy, probably sounds like a naggy mom: "That darn cat I tell you! Always doing things behind my back when I'm busy in the lab!..."
Yells loudly to get his attention: "YANUNA!!"
Has that gotcha! you're in trouble tone. "YEAH! YOU! Don't give me that puzzled look! You know what you've done! You've been bullying Pardonne while I wasn't looking again, haven't you!?"
Recording an audio log, for her research. Calm and calculated tone: "I used to think Yanuna thanking me a few months back was my imagination playing tricks. however Pardonne's Evolution proved otherwise. The past week(s) has(ve) been marked by attempts at developing 'His' vocal choids..."
Goes from completely apologetic to out of this world shocked: "Haha... Sorry for being late. Traffic was worse than I thought and I ended up rushing back when I saw that Pardonne's vitals dro- YOU EVOLVED?! AND CAN TALK?!"
Confused out of her mind: "Y-you were so cute and small but now you... you looks so- HOW DID THOSE OVERSIZED THINGS EVEN COME ABOUT!? It doesn't- They don't make any sense!"
Smiling on the outside but slowly dying on the outside: "I see you two were having fun... worrying me for nothing... Guess this is something else to pour sleepless nights of research into... *Long painful sigh*"
Pahr-DON-nnn
Pardonne was once human as well. She was actually the scientist that experimented on Yanuna before getting a taste of their own medicine and losing their own memory as well. Which is why Yanuna had so much animosity towards her at first.
PERSONALITY AND DETAILS:
Effectively a new person, she adjusted to her Pokémon life way easier than Yanuna did and her personalty reflects that. Being a joyful, playful and helpful young soul. Although despite her amnesia, some of her traits as a scientist came through. Because of that, she has quite the contrasting brainiac speech to her seemingly dunce behavior. Essentially imagine her as a dumb little sister that somehow has the verbal capacities and mannerisms of a quantum physics and genetic engineering major.
Due to being an artificial Pokémon, Pardonne can evolve but it's never permanent, not unlike mega evolution. Because of it, she has a childlike Braixen voice and a deeper more womanly Delphox voice whenever she alternates between forms. She also has a crush on Yanuna despite him kind of lowkey hating her still.
I was suggested something around the lines of Cassandra Lee Morris.
Braixen voice. Higher-pitched/more infantile. For pronunciation reference: B-REY-x-sen
"Brai! Braaaai~" "Braixen?"
Cheery, talking to herself: "Mister Yanuna has finally been giving me attention lately. He used to always be too busy and now we get to train together. I love being around him." Chuckle. "He's so strong and mysterious, I just feel attracted to him like a Electrobe is to an electromagnetically charged magnet."
Ashamed/caught-off guard: "G-GAH! N-no! I-I just-"
In deep pain but still smiling: "Thank you for finally opening up Mister... Pardonne always felt like something was off but couldn't quite put her paw on it... but it all makes sense now."
Delphox voice. Deeper/more mature yet still as peppy. For pronunciation reference: DEL-fox
"'Delphox! Deeel!"
Peppy: "Lady Felisha! Master lets you know that you're late!"
Overly affectionate: "Master's fur is so soft and loooooong~"
Solemn and caring: "You don't have to be alone anymore. Whenever you need someone to talk to... Pardonne will be here."
In either voice.
Has vertigo, visibly in pain: "What... What are those memories coursing through my mind?... They- it hurts...! M-make it stop!"
Crying, deeply emotionally wounded: "N-no...This can't be- There has to be a mistake!...
