In a month or two we'll be opening new voice positions. Please feel welcome to audition for any of those coming roles. We'd love to hear from you again.

Hello!
We've got auditions open for one character in particular; Lucas Kaiser. We released a game called XOXO Droplets last year and it's getting a free update with a new leading character. Before we can add him in, though, he'll need a voice. Lucas will also be appearing in the spin-off game, XOXO Blood Droplets, that's set to release late 2018 or early 2019. We're looking for a VA who's willing to do voices for both of those projects now and is okay with reprising the role in the future, if needed. XOXO Droplets is a slice-of-life, comedy, romance game. XOXO Blood Droplets is an unsettling, horror comedy, romance(?) game. Both are commercial works.
Partial Voicing is what we’re hiring for. The lines will consist of stock phrases/sounds and a few full sentences from specific events.
Audition Deadline: July 30th
Payment: 10 cents per word
Word Estimate: 300 (150 for XOXO Droplets & 150 for XOXO Blood Droplets)
Swearing: A few curses are used in his lines
Paid Through: Paypal
Age Requirement: 18 or older
Communication: Email or Discord
Line Format: WAV or MP3
We expect audio to be recorded clearly with no background noise.
Thank you!

Lucas’ age ranges from 16 years old to 18 years old, depending on the game and what point in the game it is. A voice that isn’t childish but is not completely matured either would work best for him.
Lucas has a clear douchebag quality to his standard tone. He’s smug, overly outgoing, constantly making a joke of things, can’t seem to take a hint, and kind of a dumbass. He tends to switch between trying to come across as a flirtatious, wannabe ladies’ man and a purely sarcastic goof. His voice is meant to be amusing with the obnoxious way it sounds rather than actually grating. And he can also show genuine emotions under certain circumstances.
The pitch we generally have in mind is a medium range. If you would rather try pulling it off with a higher or lower tone, feel free to give it a shot.

“Oh yeah? You dealing with creeps or am I just unremarkable in comparison to the types of guys you’re used to?” [Sarcastic, amused, goading, some extra inflection on the ‘Oh yeah?’] |
“Man, looks like I’ve brought another gift; the gift of bringing people together.” [Very amused, jokey, friendly, possibly a bit surprised sounding over the strange and unexpected turn of events] |
“Aha, uh, thanks for still, you know, talking to me and stuff.” [Awkward, stilted, trying to sound like his usual upbeat tone but failing, honestly grateful] |
