You MUST have discord so that you can be added to the server
Must be 17 or up to audition.
Mic quality must be decent with minimal background noise.
Please do 2-3 takes each of any voice auditions.
You may apply for multiple roles!
This roleplay does have some mature themes, involving depression, death, drinking, and swearing, ect. Others TBA or mentioned.

Basic Plot:
What was your name again?, or WWYNA is about Ghost Wachowski in his junior year of highschool. While going to a convenience store with his brothers, he and Dori, a girl from his class that he’s never spoken to before, meet. Through Ghost’s junior year, he and Dori slowly grow closer to each other by hanging out after school, eating together at lunch, and doing whatever friends do! Though, there’s only one issue. Ghost has a hard time speaking to people, especially outside of his family. He struggles with social anxiety and wants nothing more than to reply to Dori’s words and efforts to make a conversation, but it's difficult for him. Even with the notebook he and Dori use as a means of communication, he doesn’t want to feel like a burden for her to be friends with. His goal for the year is simple: Have a full conversation with Dori without the notebook.
However, that’s going to be a lot harder with three meddling brothers, his own standoffishness, and whatever else the world is going to throw his way.

Ghost is the main character of What was your name again? He will often be the focus in most of the episodes. He is a stoic character who makes little expressions and has a hard time speaking to anyone that isn’t one of his three brothers. He is a character who often communicates by nodding or shaking his head to things, or pointing. His voice, when he does speak, is monotone and he has a deep voice. Most of his lines in the beginning will be from him talking to his brothers, or being thought/narrating dialogue. As the series progresses, he’ll get more speaking voice lines. Whenever he is narrating or thinking, his tone can be slightly more expressive and emotional.
His real name is planned to be revealed later on :)

[blunt/irritated] ..Shut up.
[annoyed] She’s a classmate. I don’t even know her name.
Dori is the other main character of the series. While Dorothy is her full name, she prefers being called Dori, and will correct anyone from calling her by her full name. She’s very bubbly and basically a beam of light. It’s difficult to ruin her day, and she’s not easy to upset. She’s quick to help others, especially that of her latest interest, Ghost. She’s very patient with him and doesn’t mind just sitting with him in silence. It was her idea to use the notebook as a means of communicating with her, and she mainly will do the talking. She’s very thankful for him showing up at the convenience store because it allowed the two of them to officially meet!

[comforting] You know, it’s okay that you don’t wanna talk. I don’t mind just sitting here in silence, if that’s what you prefer.
Hi, I’m Dori! Nice to meet ya!
The eldest out of the four brothers. Liam is probably the most irresponsible, other than the youngest, Micheal. Him and Roran are adults and the ‘guardians’ of Ghost and Micheal, but he has little to do with the parenting role. He suffers from depression and often locks himself away in his room if he’s not being overly affectionate to Roran and bothering his more responsible twin. He often puts up a mask/persona and calls himself ‘Swift’. With this personality, it’s like a whole 180. He’s very flirty and in your face and acts more like a casanova. When in this mask, he often teases his brothers and sometimes makes comments that seem inappropriate. As a means of coping, he also drinks and is often out late going to parties or bars, trying to keep himself busy. Strangely enough, he seems to hold a small dislike for his baby brother, Micheal.
I need someone who can capture these two sides of this character and can switch between his personalities.

[teasing] Ooooo Ghostie, just who was that girl, huh? [laugh] She gave you a big hug. She must be into you, little brother.
[pouting, whiny] Aw, Roran, come onnnn, I was just having a little fun. [pause, before huffing] You’re no fun.
[dejected, quiet] I don’t want to talk about this now. I’m not in the mood.
Roran is the second eldest and Liam’s twin brother. He is Liam’s complete opposite. He takes over the parent role over the brothers. He is stern and always tries to keep Ghost and Micheal on a schedule. He cooks, cleans, and works two jobs. He also has a bit of a temper, which results in him yelling occasionally. He especially gets angry with Liam and will sometimes chase him around with a spoon. Roran is pretty rough and can be rude to people he doesn’t trust/care about, but he has his soft moments as well. He’s got a lot on his shoulders, but does his best to keep it together for his brothers.
He has a rougher sounding voice, kind of like it's hoarse from yelling.

Hey! It’s time to get up. This is the third time I’ve been in here. [sigh] Don’t forget, we gotta go to the store today, so I’ll be there to get you and Micheal from school.
[annoyed] Liam, I said no. What part of that do you NOT understand?
[uncertain, standoffish] A..Are you sure? I don’t really think I would be fitting for that. [pause, dejected] I… understand. Thanks.
Micheal is the youngest of the four brothers. He is the closest to Ghost, and is nicknamed ‘Stumpy’ by his brothers. He’s actually called this in reference to how small he is in comparison (since he’s the baby brother), but the nickname is also in reference to the fact he has one arm. He often wears a prosthetic over his stump. It definitely doesn’t stop him from being the cheerful goofball, and he hardly ever notices it. He likes sticking close to his brothers, and is very nosy to whatever business his brothers might have. He is often pretty forgetful, which luckily he has Roran around to keep him in check. He absolutely loves making new friends, and is very into sports- especially soccer. He notices that way Liam looks at him, but he’s unsure why that is.
His voice is a higher pitch then the rest of his brothers.

[confused] Ghost? What was that all about? [gasp, excited] Is she your friend?!
Roran. Roran. Roran. RORANNNNN! [pause] [cheerfully] Can we have spaghetti for dinner?
Felicity is a friend and neighbor of the brothers. She went to highschool with Roran and Liam and often likes to come over and visit. She has a huge crush on Liam, though she only really knows his persona that he puts up and not the real him. She likes make-up, dresses, and the color blue. She is a pretty headstrong and stubborn woman and is very persistent with what she wants. Her dream is to open her own hair cutting place. But first, she’s working on saving up money for college! She’s also extremely oblivious to Roran’s one-sided crush on her.
Her voice is more mature. She’s highly expressive in tone.

Heyyyy! Great to see you! [concerned] …Hey, is everything okay? You look upset. Do you wanna talk about it?
Dove! There’s someone here to see you!
Dove is Felicity’s younger sister. She’s just like her older sister in a lot of ways! She likes girly things just like her! Dresses!... and…. Well, dresses. Like her sister, she often wears dresses but likes to get dirty and stomping in rain puddles. She’s a tomboy at heart. She loves exploring and digging in mud. Being closer to Micheal in age, the two of them hang out quite a bit. They even play soccer together, which often ends in them going back and forth for two hours without any progress. She enjoys singing and hikes. She’s a pretty happy go-lucky character, but isn’t afraid to get into an argument with someone. She’s highly protective of her friends and will go great lengths to defend them.
Her voice is higher pitched and child-like.

The mother of the brothers. She passed away due to her illness when Micheal was a baby. Little is known about her outside of Roran and Liam’s memories of her. She’s a very sweet and motherly character. Even when she was ill, she did her best to care for her boys.
Her main appearances will be in flashbacks, and a planned episode about her and her husband.

[loving, filled with adoration] I love my boys so much. [on the verge of crying] I’m afraid of what’ll happen. I..I know I’m not getting better, and I worry about them.
The father of the brothers. He passed away a month after Primrose was pregnant with Micheal. Little is known about him as well, other than what Roran and Liam vaguely remember of him.
He is planned to appear in flashbacks and in a planned episode with him and his wife.
[awestruck] Wow… She’s beautiful.
Haha! YES! She said yes, Leon! Did you hear that?!
Leon is a family friend of Primrose and Forrest Wachowski, along with his wife, Willow. He and Willow become foster parents of the brothers. While the brothers are his adoptive children, he keeps his distance from them and hardly ever interacted with them while they were growing up. He is a rich man that runs his own company. He has little interest in children, but has plans for Roran in particular with the company.
Roran, pleasure to see you. I’m glad you came in, please sit down. We have something important to discuss.
[irritated] Liam is utterly incompetent. He may be the eldest, but he certainly doesn’t act like it. He acts like a child.
Like her husband, Leon, Willow is a family friend of Primrose and Forrest Wachowski. Much like her husband, she spent little time with the brothers, and was hardly ever around. The most she’s done for them was convince her husband to get the house the brothers currently live in. Despite Roran paying ‘rent’ for the house, she often tells him he doesn’t need to. The intentions behind this are unclear.
