I can’t do this anymore! I’m tired of pretending… I’m tired of being stuck like this and feeling like I’m… like I’m engaged to a stranger.

Marinette, all I’ve done these past three years is wait around for you to come home. I spent three years just hoping you’d come walking through that door again someday… but I can’t waste anymore years on just waiting. I never bothered to reflect on any of my mistakes the entire time we were apart…. and that’s probably why you were the only one who ever really grew.
I don’t need the you of yesterday, Adrien. What I need is a you that’s even greater than that, a you thats much, much stronger… the kind of guy who can smile at me without needing to force it. That’s the guy I want you to be.
