"We Are Broken" Audition!!!
For those who havent nticed yet, I have finally casted the main cast of We Are Broken. :3
But I just wanted to say, to those who did not get casted, that everyone did a great job. In the end it came down to mic quality and vocal tone.
SO I dont want anyone to get discouraged by not getting casted and hope to see you all audition again for future projects.
And to my new cast, I'm really looking forward to working with you all. :3
For those of you who are keeping up with these little updates on this project...
With the help of another Simmer, I know have my game up and running again. (My desktop is fixed too)
Which means that I can get to work on this series sooner. :3
I'll probably keep this series open for another week or two (End of October at the latest).

So it has almost been 4 months since I first uploaded this casting call and I have gotten some great auditions. I'd still like to get a few more auditions in before closing the call and casting the voice actors. <3
Here's the rub.
The laptop that I have been using to create this series is broken. First, the laptop was missing it's video drivers which made the computer slow, laggy, and impossible to use the Sims (which is the media that this series is being made with). And recently, the screen to my laptop started to only show vertical lines, making it impossible to do anything. I won't be able to get my laptop looked at and (hopefully) fixed until late December. This is because I recently left my job and am having difficulty finding a new one. I've been promiced a job at a gasstation a block away from home but I can only start working there when I turn 19 so that I can handle booze and cigarrettes. Which won't be until early December.
My only other option is to use an very old desktop, which wouldn't be much of a problem if it didn't constantly crash every five minutes. And there isn't really anything I can do about that.
In the meantime I'll be working on the script so that when I AM able to film again I can jump right into filming.
If you have lost interest in being apart of this series then let me know so that I won't accidentally cast you.

While trying to get a casting call up as soon as I could, I ended up not putting into account that I will be needing extras. Extras will range from teachers to background students, to polive officers, etc. etc. So starting today I'm going to add an Extra audition bubble (or whatever they're called). It's not a required thing, only for those who would like to be an extra.
In other news, I'm getting closer and closer to getting the males casted. I've gotten a couple of really good auditions for Connor and Peter.
My one question is why no one wants to audition for Jacob. Lel. xD

Hey everyone, It's been a while since I uploaded this project and I haven't been the best at keeping everyoe updated. The Deadline is coming up fast but I still need more male auditions. I don't have enough to even begin the project. If you guys know of any male voice actors that would be interested in this project please send them my way. xD I don't want to disappoint those who have auditioned and those looking forward to the series.
I have a pretty good idea on who I want for the females but I won't cast anyone until after the deadline in case others still want to audition.
If worst comes to shove, once the deadline hits, I'll remake the casting call for just the male roles in hopes to get some more testosterone. xD

Med/High voice
Peter can only best be referred to as a nerd. His only still is studying but he doesn't let that bring him down. He still tries out for sports, even if he doesn't get in. He has had a crush on Emma for a while now but hasn't built up the nerve to ask her out.
(rambling) "O--oh hi Emma. Fancy seeing you here. I mean, of course you would be here because school and you have great attendance a--and all. But usually you aren't HERE now. N--not that I would know where you are anyway. Uh, on, um...who's this?"
(calm) "You don't have to tell me what's bugging you...just know that I'll be here when you need me. I... I like you Emma. A lot. And...if you could just give me a chance...I promise that I can make you happy."
Any vocal range
Sarah is the typical girl who likes to party and be social. She is currently dating Connor Schoenhofer and is usually seen with him, her friends Nikki and Sasha, and her younger brother Jacob. Sarah is not fans with Emma after hearing rumors about Emma trying to hit on Connor.
(cheery) "Oh, you're the new girl. I should have known. Rachel Parker, right? *pause* That's the late bell. but take this note and explain that you're new and you shouldn't have a problem."
"Okay so this is Sasha, that's Nikki, and that's my younger brother Jacob. Everyone, this is Rachel. *pause* Hey babe, meet Rachel. Rachel this is my boyfriend, Connor."
(excited) "Your birthday is this weekend? So is mine! You HAVE to come to my party Friday! It'll be like a double birthday bash!"
Medium voice
Jacob is Sarah's younger brother. He mostly does things his own way and can be referred to as a "free spirit". He doesn't say aloud that he's friends with Peter even though he helps get Peter out of tough situations.
He is around 14/15 and is still going through puberty.
(irritated) "Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not friends with that kid. I just hate seeing people like him getting pushed around by people is all."
(flirty) "Midnight. Let me be the first to wish you happy birthday. How about I give you a little kiss, eh?" (Rachel slaps him) "Ow! It was a joke!"

Emma is a quiet girl who is usually seen on her own. She is reluctant about becoming friends with Rachel but they soon form a bond. In events prior to the series, Emma is raped at a party she didn't want to go to and feels like she can't tell anyone...until Rachel comes along.
(quiet) "I like to read, mostly. Be on my own. *pause* What? Oh, no. Parties aren't really my thing. Besides...no one would want me there."
(sad, scared) "He took everything from me! He took my friends...my sanity...(choke up) my chastity...I hae nothing left!"
(reel of screaming/crying) ~Required for this character~

Med/Low voice.
Like Sarah, Connor likes to Party. On the surface he's cool and seemingly a nice guy, but hides a really dark side. He is the one who assaults Emma and spreads the rumor that she was hitting on him to cover his tracks.
(casual) "Cool, welcome to Emerson High. I think we had a class together earlier today. Science, right?"
(threatening) "If you tell anyone, and I mean ANYONE, what happened here. I will take this knife and use it to cut out your tongue. Got it?"
(worried) "Hey. Em. What are you going out here all alone? The party's inside. Plus it's cold."
Med/Low voice.
Rachel just wants to start over at Emerson High, and was actually looking forward to meeting new friends. She is bitchy but optimistic and helps people when she can. She lives with her Aunt and Uncle along with her little brother Peter.
(casual) "My little brother's name is Peter, too. Our last name is Parker and my dad had the brilliant idea of naming his son after Spider-man."
(comforting) "Emma if you ever need to talk, I'm here for you okay? Friends stick togehter, right?"
(shouting, trying to calm Emma down) "Emma...EMMA, I'm not going to hurt you! Look at me!"
