War of the Spark Episode 5
Project Overview
Wizards of the Coast releases an online web story for Magic: the Gathering just about every week. It is our goal on the Voice of All podcast to bring these stories to life through audio.
The web fiction version of the events of the War of the Spark novel continues! Today features a number of new characters, including the demon lord Rakdos! You can read the the story here:

We are looking to keep up with the release of Wizards' stories as best as possible and will release our version the second following Friday, so expect to be cast this week and have your lines to me within a few days.
As a general casting note, I do not typically have any voice requirements in mind for characters. I would much rather hear your interpretations and choose from among them.

Exava is a blood witch and currently second in command with the cult of Rakdos. She is devious and cruel with a flair for the dramatic. She would rather dance on the world's corpse than help the other guilds. She is described as having a deep, contralto voice.
This is her first appearance in story, but as an important character on Ravnica, Exava may reappear in future tales. Should she do so, you will be asked to reprise the role.
"Then the Cult of Rakdos will dance on Ravnica's grave. We're quite good at grave dancing. It's a specialty."

Tomik Vrona is the executive assistant to the Orzhov guildmaster. He's a security mage - a lawyer who specializes in contracts. He is also the boyfriend of Ral Zarek, guildmaster of the Izzet League. They live together but usually keep their relationship secret for fear of riling up inter-guild tensions. This is his first appearance in Magic fiction, but he appears polite, measured, and well-poised. Should he reappear, you will be asked to reprise the role.
"Apologies. Things have been a bit chaotic up on the surface."
"I am executive assistant to the true guildmaster of the Orzhov. For years, I believed that to be Teysa Karlov. Now I know it is Kaya. And so I have been about the business of serving my mistress."
"That was mostly the giant Bilagru. You made a good impression on him."
Rakdos is the demonic founder and guildmaster of the Cult of Rakdos. He is hedonism incarnate - self-centered, cruel, eager to show off. He spends quite a lot of time snoozing in pits of lava. You can learn all there is to know about him here: https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Rakdos
Though these are his only lines today, Rakdos is a major player on Ravnica and is sure to appear again. Should he do so, you will be asked to reprise the role.
