Walt Disney Comics & Stories: The Think Box Bollix (Carl Barks)
Project Overview
Hi Everyone!
I am starting my third full-length Donald Duck comic dub. I am looking for a few voice actors that can voice a few characters for it (Non Paid Gig). I will be voicing Donald Duck and his nephews. The project will be posted on my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/c/JustinFHollobaugh
The Think Box Bollix is a story about Gyro Gearloose's newest invention. He created two boxes that make animals smart as they walk between the two. Donald thinks Gyro is kind of an absent minded professor. He doesn't believe Gyro's invention will work. However, he wan'ts to scare Huey, Dewey, and Louie (HD&L) so he gets a hold of a wolf costume and acts as a wolf who was turned smart. HD&L get scared and Donald begins to chase them. Donald is confronted by a real wolf who is dress up as a dog. The real wolf eventually captures Donald and prepares to eat him. Ultimately, the wolf that has Donald, is turned 'Un smart" and Donald is saved.
Before auditioning, please ensure that you are in a quiet and small space so as to lessen the big room echo. Good quality recording is a must!

Gyro Gearloose is an inventor. Plain and simple. He is very smart but that doesn't mean he doesn't have his failures.

In response to Donald asking Gyro what he has: "My new jet-powered baggage buggy, Donald!"
Mood: A bit annoyed with Donald. Donald was laughing and making fun of Gyro's newest failed invention:
"I haven't had time to perfect it! I've been too busy inventing Think Boxes!"
Mood: Proud. "Certainly not Donald! I'm proud of these boxes! They're my newest and greatest invention!"
This character has very few lines. He is actually a wolf dressed up as a man. The voice of the wolf will be another character's voice.
(he just tripped a wolf who is chasing after Huey, Dewey, and Louie) "Hold on there, Wolf!"
Mood: upset. (he is sticking up for the triplets) "You're not going to harm any little boys while I'm around!"
The Wolf is the bad guy.
Gyro's new invention turned this regular wolf into a smart wolf. Now he can talk and use his brain. He doesn't know what happened, other than he walked between two metal boxes (the think box bollix) that Gyro placed in the woods. Get creative with him. I am up for any accents.
The wolf pulls his human mask off and says to Donald: "That aint the half of it, Buddy! I'm not a dog! I'm a Wolf!!
Mood: quite hungry and anxious to get a hold of Donald. He is shedding his costume when he says: "Y'know, the funniest thing happened to me last night! I was going down the path to steal a chicken...."
Mood: Hungry, anxious. He has Donald tied up on a roasting stick and is trying to start a fire to cook him. "Yessir, I suddenly got the doggonedest craving for roast duck!"
The bunny and his wife were affected by Gyros think boxes, just as the wolf was.
Get creative with him. I am up for any accents.
HD&L are looking for Donald and come upon a talking rabbit: "Yeah! A wolf got him! A real wolf!"
Ironically, HD&L are perplexed how a rabbit can speak. He explains: " Yeah! Funny thing! me and the missus took a walk down the path last night! Passed tow funny boxes!"
