Project Overview
Thank you for checking out the fandub of Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea!
After a hiatus, we are needing to recast some roles, as well as casting roles that have yet to be filled. More roles may be added in the future.

Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea is a pseudo-RPG with a heavy story focus, made by Deep-Sea Prisoner in RPG Maker 2000.
A clear blue sea under a beautiful blue sky.
After a long departure, the sea witch Wadanohara travels back home with her familiars.
But her ex-familiar, the shark Samekichi, appears to block her way:
"You shouldn't be here... Leave this sea, right now."

Please refrain from auditioning if the following makes you uncomfortable, as there is such content implied or explicitly shown in-game:
- Implied sexual assault
- Blood and gore
- Body horror
Please take note of the following before auditioning:
- Due to certain content/imagery within the game, you must be 15+ to audition. If you are found to not meet this requirement, your audition will not be considered.
- Have a decent mic. You don't need anything fancy-schmancy, but try to avoid popping/peaking and excessive background noise.
- Be committed. Do your best to make deadlines and stick around for the long haul. Communicate with the director and others if problems arise.
- Be creative! No characters have a canonical voice, as the original game is not voiced.
- Have a Discord. If cast, you will be invited to a server where everyone will communicate and scripts will be sent.

Cholmaki is a witch, whose familiar is Lobco. She's a bit of a bully, and has a very casual and straight-forward way of talking. In a way, she is extroverted, and doesn't really think before she speaks, making her very blunt.
Note: She has a lot of spunk and emotion. She's pretty sarcastic and likes to poke fun at everyone!

"This palace is neat, eh? Used to think nothin’ of the sea, but this stuff is fresh! So’s the seafood."
"Totsusa Kingdom? Whazzat? Some kingdom that don’t get along with this one?"

Irena is shown to like naps and snacks. During a flashback in the game, Irena often sends Wadanohara on errands seeing as she can't walk on land. She enjoys singing.

"Anyway, knowing you made it back safely… Now I can nap in peace. Want to sleep with me?"
“Don't be a bad girl and go vanishing, will you, Wadanohara?”

Tomoshibi appears to be quiet, not having anything much to say of value or interest to the player during the game except occasional yawns, snores, and "....zzzzzz"s. She is a humanoid anglerfish and is a part of Minero's friend group.
Voice: Medium-high. Very sleepy, as if sounding she is going to fall asleep any second.
"Oh... Welcome back."
