A student VR project looking for 2 English (Scottish/Irish accent) VA.
PROJECT SYNOPSIS
VR: Dear Van Gogh is a student lead VR project.
We aim to provide user an opportunity to relive Vincent Van Gogh's memories through 1888 - 1890.
Users will be situated in the virtual world of the painting, listening to the DIALOGUE between Vincent and his younger brother, Theo.
Role 1 - Vincent Van Gogh
35-40 yo. Male. Dutch painter.
Creative, emotional, and argumentative at times. Insisted to continue as impressionist painter even its consider non-art at the time.
Audition Line:
"I think it will be one that you’ll place in your home – it’s an image of death as the great book of nature speaks to us about it. It’s all yellow except for a line of violet hills – a pale, blond yellow. I myself find that funny, that I saw it like that through the iron bars of a cell."
Role 2 - Theo Van Gogh
35-40 yo. Male. Dutch art dealer.
Support his older brother financially and emotionally.

"How pleased I would have been if you’d been there at the Independents’ exhibition. Many people came up to ask me to give you their compliments. I also like it very much, that painting, and it looks admirably well in the exhibition. "
