Introduction:
Wake the Will is a webcomic series on Webtoon. I write and illustrate for the story as its only creator. This is an ongoing project that I am doing for fun as a hobby, as the general idea for a card game-based series has seen numerous drafts over the years. With this, I'm telling the final, definitive version of the story I always wanted to tell.
-Summary taken directly from the Webtoon series hub: "To avoid the harsh reality that is life, individuals escape into a virtual reality game based around a trading card game named Wake the Will. One girl enters this world in order to set things right and stand against this false utopia. However, her plans derail, as she immediately encounters a boy around her age, whom is one of many that has given up on life."
What's going into the project:
-I am looking for two voice actors to play these "Summons", or cards played by the characters in the story, and one for a character purposely left vague.
-These episodes are videos posted to my YouTube channel, where we will be dubbing over shots of each panel from the webcomic. This will be used to promote the Webtoon, giving it life with voice acting, music, and occasional animation.
-We're planning to do every episode of the Wake the Will Webtoon. There are currently 19 episodes released on Webtoon, with the 22nd in production.

This story focuses around players in a VR game playing a trading card game with each other. Players will dramatically play out and announce their moves, as done in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! However, I've found working in a voice call is most effective, particularly with non-Summon characters. I am open to either one though. I'd like for us to just have fun with this.

Major Role: Silent Midnight is one of Karmen's go-to cards. Karmen will play her in most of her battles, as she is generally her most important Rank 2 card that helps her strategy.
Card Lore: As a lone warrior of the night, she lurks quietly in the darkness and strikes her enemies swiftly and without a sound... until it's too late. Her prime time is around midnight, hence her name. No one has seen her and lived to tell the tale.
Personality: She is calm and quiet, until she attacks, or activates her effect. She is never seen smiling as well. She's always cold and calculated.
Voice: I'm looking for a female voice that's slightly deeper than normal, and able to sound serious.

Minor Role: Cosplay is a non-Affinity vanilla card used usually by beginner players. He may not be summoned very often, so suitable for those that want a minor role.
Card Lore: Unable to afford any fancy costumes, this creature makes do with a cheap, worn out blanket, "cosplaying" as a ghost and will often go to conventions. No one is sure what his real identity is, though.
Personality: Cosplay has a very tired and defeated personality. He's one of the summons that actually speaks words in battle.
Voice: I imagine his voice sounding tired, monotone (in a comedic way) and very disinterested in what's going on. It could even be "Garfield-like"
