Voice Acting Talent Show
Project Overview
What is this?
As a voice actor you probably know the importance of constantly improving your skills, so I decided to come up with a voice acting talent show challenge. This is both for fun and education.
I have randomly generated 5 characters and written a line for each of them. I will be taking all of your auditions and judging/critiquing them for a video on my Youtube channel. I will do my best to give advice as well. This can be a great opportunity for both novices and seasoned voice actors to have fun and may challenge yourself.
Ranking brackets will be judged character by character, which means you will get a ranking for each character you audition for (They do not stack).
I will be performing all of the lines as well and seeing how I compare to all of you (for fun and learning).
Once all the auditions are in, I will keep you all updated on when the video will go up so you can see how well you did. Give it your all everyone!
Guidelines
- How many roles can I audition for? As many as you want. Challenge yourself by trying all of them.
- Can I change the line? Ad libbing is fine, changing words is fine, adding lines is fine. Feel free to make the line your own as long as it stays true to the character.
- Can I add sound effects? You may, but just know they could hurt your score if not executed properly, so don’t use them if you aren’t comfortable (this will not lessen your score).

FINALLY DONE
I am finally finished with the video guys! Well actually there's two videos. Wow 41 Auditions!
Thank you all so much for your submissions. Over these past weeks I've had so much fun listening to them and rating them. I'm diligently working on getting out the video for you all.
