This casting is for a comic dub of Victory Fire, which is a Pokémon comic created by SulpherBunny & Co. There hasn't really been a while lot of comic dubs of this particular comic and the ones that do exist could certainly be better, so exactly what my goal is: to make a nicely done dub of Pokémon Victory Fire. This CCC page is for book one and that will be what consists of the first episode. (Which if you haven't already figured out, this is going to be a multi episode project with more casting calls most likely in the future). We'll worry about the other books later, but for now, please read all of the information on this page including character descriptions adequately. Currently we only need voice actors for this project

We've finally come to a decision and have casted everyone we feel fits the characters for this episode the best. It was very challenging, especially with all the nice auditions. We'd like to thank everyone who tried out for this episode and hope that you try again for the next casting in the future.
Due to Christmas being right around the corner and the winter storm hitting the USA, we'll be delaying the casting to after Christmas. We'll be selecting the roles sometime shortly before New Years hits so long as there are no more bums in the road. Thank you for your patience.
We've listened through auditions and have nearly decided on who we want to cast for the Victory Fire dub. Auditions are closed and the casting will be live within the next few days. Jen is a human who became an Audino. She has been thrust upon an odd destiny as a Pokémon in our story and unfortunately feel they are useless in most scenarios. Jen is our main character in Victory Fire.
Traits: Innocent, pragmatic, empathetic
"What's happened to me? Why am I still stuck like this? ...And who helped me? Those Pokémon last night...I've never seen Pokémon like that.
"Ever since I got here...I've been hiding behind other people. Letting them protect me. I've been so useless...this is my fault. He got hurt because of me."
"Gengar, he's limping today. Like A LOT...what do you think we should do?"
Gengar accompanies Jen on her way through the story. At first he comes off as sinister, but later proves he is far from the bad guy here. I was thinking the voice has a sort of sinister sound to it, almost similar to what he sounds like in the PMD shorts (Reference: https://youtu.be/GsaBWck7c4k?t=304 ), but just because you can't make this voice doesn't mean you shouldn't try out. One of your takes sounding similar to this reference would be great! This Gengar is the same Gengar from PMD Red & Blue Rescue team.
Traits: Cathartic Bully, Guilt, Masquerade, Conviction
"Oh hey. More Water. I totally did not see THIS coming."
"They were trying to lead us off a cliff! This is why you don't trust ghosts!"
"Yeah, well...maybe that's not so easy when you're scared."
Darkrai is enslaved by Victini and forced to help her take down Jen & Gengar. He'll appear most of the time with Victini throughout the story. I imagine he'll have a sort of depressed tone and/or somber tone, so please do that for one of your three takes. Darkrai is the same character from PMD Explorers of Time, Darkness & Sky.
"What you have proposed is evil, and I want no part of it."
"You will not speak to me that way...do you think I am not suffering too?"
"Victini...no! Please don't do something unforgivable..."
Victini is an antagonist character throughout Victory Fire. She has Darkrai confined in shackles to force him to do her dirty biddings.The Darkrai she has ensnared is the same Darkrai from Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time, Darkness & Sky.
Traits: Vindictive, Cruel, Cold.
"Shut up, I don't care. It's your problem, you deal with it."
"Oh?...You want to fight? Come on, fight me, I'm right here. Come on big shot, let's see you make a move!"
"So...is this what we're doing now? Thwarting? You're thwarting me?"
The mentor character. Kecleon accompanies our party through a portion of the story helping Jen & Gengar in many perilous journeys.
Traits: Grandfatherly, experienced, guide
"If you still won't trust me, you can make me walk in Front. But one way or another, I'm coming with you."
"I saw your attackers last night. They've crossed the river."
"I can't just stand by. The child is injured and that's hard country to cross at the best of times."
This role is for multiple Houndooms. There is one leader Houndoom and then two other Houndooms. The appropriate roles will be marked in the lines below, but please do three takes for each in different voices if it's a different Houndoom. There will be multiple people selected for each of the Houndooms most likely. The Houndooms are hot on the tail of Jen & company and are assisted by a Murkrow in order to track their party down.
The main Houndoom is male. If you're going to just try out for the other Houndooms, simply only have takes for them and not the main in your audition.
Main Houndoom Traits: Aggressive, Desperate, Stubborn
(Main Houndoom) "Again! Again and again! When is it going to be enough for you?" [Different Line] "Why would YOU want to help us, Bird? What's this to do with you?"
(Houndoom #2) [Speaking then gets interrupted] "We're a long way out of our territory now. Maybe we should turn ba-"
(Houndoom #3) "This is stupid"
Murkrow assists the Houndoom in order to find Jen's party. I feel like their voice should have a sort of parrot sound to it or at least one of your three takes for each line.
"My help? What can I do?"
"You can cross up-river. Take you most of the night to get there though."
"Alright, wait there."
This is the same Gardevoir that Gengar has a history with in the original PMD Red & Blue rescue team. She is also the Gardevoir from team Charm.
Traits: Analytical, Hesitant, Kind-hearted
"You left me here to die. Nothing can undo what you've done!"
"A thousand years...I'd gladly wait a thousand more if I could make you suffer as I have."
"I thought it might be something like that. How long do we have?"
Celebi appears throughout the story of Victory Fire observing Darkrai's work.
"Darkrai...I need your help."
"A human child has been brought to our world. It's not like before, Darkrai's stink is all over this."
"Evidently Palkia was wrong."
Togekiss flies Kecleon to their set location so they can accompany Jen & Gengar
