VAs Needed for Webtoon: Wake the Will
Project Overview
Introduction:
Wake the Will is a webcomic series on Webtoon. I write and illustrate for the story as its only creator. This is an ongoing project that I am doing for fun as a hobby, as the general idea for a card game-based series has seen numerous drafts over the years. With this, I'm telling the final, definitive version of the story I always wanted to tell.
-Summary taken directly from the Webtoon series hub: "To avoid the harsh reality that is life, individuals escape into a virtual reality game based around a trading card game named Wake the Will. One girl enters this world in order to set things right and stand against this false utopia. However, her plans derail, as she immediately encounters a boy around her age, whom is one of many that has given up on life."
What's going into the project:
-I am looking for three voice actors to play a one-off character and two Summons, cards played by characters in the story.
-These episodes are videos posted to my YouTube channel, where we will be dubbing over shots of each panel from the webcomic. This will be used to give life to the Webtoon, with voice acting, music, sound and occasional animation.
-We're planning to do every episode of the Wake the Will Webtoon. There are many episodes published on Webtoon, with the series actually complete and scheduled for weekly releases every Friday at 3 PM EST.

This story focuses around players in a VR game playing a trading card game with each other. Players will dramatically play out and announce their moves, as done in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! Vanguard, or Shadowverse. Feel free to take a look at my Webtoon if you are in need for more context:

**While Wake the Will is "SFW", there are some mild cases of the following:

Brief One-Off: (Age 23) Spencer is seen very briefly, getting eliminated from the server by the protagonist, Karmen. (The lines below are his only lines. I'll simply just use your audition lines for the actual episode and you won't have to do anything else if you're chosen for the role. An ideal role for someone who doesn't want to commit.)
Personality: While we see him, he's panicked as he's being eliminated. Under normal circumstances, he's more like a street punk. Not so much a scumbag, but someone who's up for getting into a little trouble. More like a prankster.
Voice: Looking for a male adult voice. Medium range. I need you to be panicking and afraid for your life.

Moderate Summon: Bone-Clubbing Zombie is one of Varzo's main cards used while battling, with Varzo being the first arc's final boss fight. It's a zombie rat wielding a bone for a weapon that will just be making zombie sounds, like groans and such.
Card Lore: While alive, Bone-Clubbing Zombie and its wife committed many crimes and eventually paid the price, dying while imprisoned. One day, they rose from the dead, looking for more.
Personality: Brainless zombie, piloted only by its desire to wreak havoc.
Voice: I'm looking for a male voice that can make convincing zombie noises, consisting of groans and the like. You may use the following video for some ideas, as the Conker's Bad Fur Day zombies directly inspired both Bone-Clubbing Zombies. The zombies draw out their groans and noises, which is exactly what I'm looking for. PLEASE NOTE the following video (though it is old N64 graphics) could be scary or anxiety-inducing for some people, as it depicts creepy zombie characters approaching the player, making eerie sounds, and blood being sprayed as zombie heads are shot at.
