Various Rap Battle Roles

Various Rap Battle Roles

Project Overview

Hey there! My name's Vivian and I'm currently creating a rap battle series. You may know me as the creator of the infamous Nagito Komaeda vs Gamzee Makara rap battle, which at the moment has nearly 40 thousand views since being released November of 2019.

I have worked with a lot of talented people to help bring these projects to life, but sometimes I don't have anyone I know who can fill a certain role or position. That's where this casting call comes in!

Reaching out to talented people to help with projects has always been one of my favorite parts of making something, and I'll be doing it once more with this casting call! I have several roles available for audition, most of which are from the Danganronpa franchise, but I also have roles from popular anime series (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Elfen Lied), video games (Kingdom Hearts, Undertale), and more!

If you see any role you're interested in, feel free to audition! I left the gender category as any, so don't feel discouraged if you don't identify as the same gender as the character. All I'm looking for is good impression, flow, and performance!

To anyone who auditions, I hope you have fun with it! Just remember to follow the recording guidelines, and try your best. I'm very excited to see the auditions I get, and I hope I can do another casting call in the future!

- Vivian

Toko Fukawa/Genocider Syo (Danganronpa)

Role assigned to: KingSpirals

Toko Fukawa, the Ultimate Writing Prodigy, is a major character from the Danganronpa series. She's an incredibly timid and emotional girl, and also has a serial killer split personality named Genocider Syo. She will be facing off against Principal Krupp from the Captain Underpants series.

Voice Reference:

  • Record your own cover of any rap song or rap battle in the voice of the character. Make sure to send the audition with the instrumental so I can know if you're on-beat or not.

    GUIDELINES FOR RECORDING:

    - This is a given, but your mic quality should be clear with minimal to no background noise.

    - You must be able to stay on-beat in your audition. Messing up one's flow is not great for a rap project, and if it helps, you can always record your lines separately to help you flow better.

    - Express the character well. Toko may be timid but she's not afraid to get a bit aggressive, and Syo is absolutely off-the-wall bonkers.

  • For this role, make sure to audition with both Toko and Syo's voice.

  • Although Toko stutters frequently, I'd prefer it if you didn't stutter in the audition.
