Lucy is the main character of Elfen Lied. She is part of the Diclonius, a species similar to humans who plan to replace humanity with their species. Lucy is a cold-hearted and remorseless killer, tearing down anyone in her way without a second thought. After a gunshot to the head, Lucy develops an alternate personality named Nyu. Nyu is much more innocent and childish than Lucy, and holds no violent tendencies of any kind. She will be facing off against Vinegar Doppio/Diavolo from the fifth part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Vento Aureo.

  • Record your own cover of any rap song or rap battle in the voice of the character. Make sure to send the audition with the instrumental so I can know if you're on-beat or not.

    GUIDELINES FOR RECORDING:

    - This is a given, but your mic quality should be clear with minimal to no background noise.

    - You must be able to stay on-beat in your audition. Messing up one's flow is not great for a rap project, and if it helps, you can always record your lines separately to help you flow better.

    - Express the character well. Nyu is sweet and naive, while Lucy is cold and hateful.

  • For this role, make sure to audition with both Nyu and Lucy's voice.

Thanks for auditioning! I think your voice sounds pretty good but your flow and volume aren't the best. Since you're doing a character voice, it's usually easier to record your lines separately instead of in one audio track, so you have more time to breathe and convey the emotions well. I also don't know if this is you or just how the audition is mixed but you're very quiet. If that's just a problem with the audio though then there's no problem in that category.

Ahh ya i did think about the audio! Maybe i should have turned it down more. I'll turn up my mic volume too. And thank u I actually didn't know recording in separate lines actually help so I'm glad u mentioned it! Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll redo my audition with that information!^^
