Project Overview

CHOAS! Doogal Conata a simple, down to EARTH monk finds himself on a different plannet, with different people, and different challenges ahead of him. Doogal is the only one who can reform the current rejame that is plaguing Vaniea, but he can't do it alone. With powerful allies, and even stronger enimies will he come out victorious? Vaniea seeks to tell the story of coming of age, a loss, misdeeds, and most importantly compassion and redemption.

  • There is no current deadline/new addtions

    Hello everyone viewing this. I'm just updating about the constantly changing deadline. Until all roles are cast there is no current deadline and if your auditioning good luck! There will be some new things being added to the casting call this month such as a draft first chapter script that I have written (This will most likely be near the end of the month.   • A few updates:

    I'm very happy with the auditions I this project has gotten in such a little amount of time and they are all great in terms of quality nice work! I'm going to be posting a a little document in very soon dealing the timeline and things are they way they are for example what I mean by Zepen and Earth Vanean. One of the most important things coming this week are new roles, and characters. So far this has been an amazing experience and I can't wait to get this out to people who are interested in this project. Below are bullet points of less notable features appearing in the document! Namana is the current Zepen who trains Doogal in Evaprant abiltes and spirtaulty. Namana is Doogal's Father and cares deeply for him. Before Doogal and his outer son Nama where born he tried to keep peace and unity. Namana always tried to be a diplomat and practise pacifist soulstions to problems. Unfortnly he had to let go of these belifes to protect Vaniea's still oppressed Earth Vanin population from a potential genocide by natives. Cousing him to take the lives of thousands in one single swipe. This along with having to send one of his sons and wife to Earth because of their race for protection left him full with regret.

  • (Theartning Native attackers of Earth Vanians) (Shouts to intamadate) "If you taken ONE more step toward them I will end your attack!... Permanatly/"

  • (Anger) "I told you you're ways won't work here Doogal!"

  • (Protectivness) "Maxwelliea! I thought I told your father to never return here. I..I.. I don't want to lose you two."

Doogaal the Earth Vanean is a humble and calm person who believes peace is inevitable, but will his "return" to his "home" after being sheltered from the vanean society on Earth change his view for the better or worse. Doogaal calls himself an activist of peace.

-Doogaal is the main character.

-Doogaal's voice is soft and calm.

-Doogaal's voice typicaly doesn't convey emotion very well making him sound monotone, the only emotion some can get from him are from his words.

  • (desperate) "Look listen to me. please. He is going to break your peaceful society and into a war machine. I need to talk to your people if I can maybe ask to lead your cause too (gulps nervously) You know a democracy?"

    OR

    (Desperate) "(As if calling for someone) PLEASE is there anyway way ANY way I can get to the planet Earth Earth E A R T H!"


    OR "(Laughs) This might sound like a werid question but there wasn't a Zepen called Doniea (Don-E-A) in this temple was their.... (Embarrassed) Yeah I guess that's a common name (nervous laughter) Well thank you buddy.

  • (Angry) " Oh hey. so your the mythical next in line Zepen (Zep-in) leader. (Laughs) Well sorry but I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that doesn't happen. 

  • (Camliy to outcast) " I didn't expect to be thrown away either from a loving family too. Hey, When did you get forced out of your home. (Silence) (Sympathetically trying to break the silence) "I was forced out too, I was different just like you but you'd never expect your own family to send you to an unknown place for no reason." (Optimistically/motivated "Well, we're going to find out why and how we improve ourselves, you with me? My names Doogaal by the way who are you?"

The Brother of Doogaal but dose not know it as they where separated at birth by the planet they would live on. Doogal calls him by N'doogs which means "Not me" as he looks similar to Doogaal accept for his lighter skin tone and dark eyes. N'doogs is arrogant and believes more in some people being worthy and others mattering more than others. His upbringing of being told he would lead his Fathers religion was what caused this attitude. 

-His voice voice is very deep and intimidating. 

  • (Angry) "I didn't ask for your input, did I "Doojel or however you are."

  • (With prejudice) "Does he know he isn't worthy, does he look worthy to you?"

  • (Smugly) "I told you I am the one to take this position and someone like you doesn't have the power to object."

Don-ee-a is the Mother of Doogaal and is who Doogaal is separated from after being sent to Vaneiaa. Doogaal Mother has a major impact on Doogaal's philosophy and attitude. 

  • (Angry) "Why do we have to separate our children, Doogaal's only been in existence for mere moments and you feel he won't be worthy. To me everyone is worthy! If so I'm going with him to prove you wrong!"

  • (Happy) "He's all I ever wanted he's humble and accepting, and loving. I only wish he could be the Zepen leader."

  • (Annoyed) "Don't you talk about my son like that.."

Doogaal's only friend on Vaneiaa was also an outcast in Vanean society due to him being shunned by the Zepens for being framed for murder.  He is at first afraid of Dogaal and feels he won't believe his innocence, while he quickly warms up to Doogaal he still feels like Doogaal would abandon him if he revled why he was shunned. Mxwellia hides his anxiety and fear with false happiness that Doogaal can see right through a majority of the time. 


  • (Happy) "Hey Doogaal My name's Maxwellia(Max-well-ea) (Akward silience) (Nervous) "Erm as for why I'm an outcast well I was... I... I left... I left the Zepens... On my own terms.. (From under breath) "Yeah that sounds good."  

  • (Happy/excited Hey Doog's can you believe one day you where hated by everyone but now you've turned it around. Nice work keep it up! We'll have this Zepen (Zep-in) stuff done in days. " we are the DREAM TEAM!"

    (Shouts over crowed trying to put Doogaal off at a debate with N'Doogs about the Zepen leadership "DOOGS! Just know I believe in you. Win this for you, for me and for everyone. That would make Mother proud. (Whispers with hope to self) "I know you can do this buddy."

Born into the Zepen order by two ordained parents Numi formed an anti Zepen Cult after seeing how an organised religion turned out with her parents abondoning her due to her being "unworthy" of being in the religion. Numi lived most of her teenage life on the streets of Vaniaa "Doma to be exact". Numi grew bitter and cold toward any Zepen but shared great empthy with outcasts of the Zepen's. Most notably Maxwelliaa who co founded an anti-Zepen cult which was named Dark Zepen to symbolise how the Vanian socity would leave former Zepens to rot in the shawdows. Unforntly for Numi Maxwelliaa left the Dark Zepens after she suspended all Earth Vanians. While Numi is indiffrent about Doogaal at first, she learns Doogaal is Doniea's son it turns dislike due to Doniea being a friend of her Mother and someone who suppourted her parents choice to disown her.  

  • (Angry) "No one can bring the Zepen's "Religion" back to when it's prime... (Whispers to intmadate) "But you're not from here so you want know what ounce was."

  • (Annoyed)"Doogaal the one person I would never want to talk too right now outher than my parents is definitely you."

  • (Pleading turns into disapointment) "Maxwelliaa please. I might have made a few mistakes but why would you want to know him. He dosen't know pain, loss, or hopelessness. He's just radical. If you join him it proves you're just one of them."

Survialist: Warfiighter (Male)

The Survialists... Formed out of fear by former LoD members seeing how their fellow people murdered the natives in the name of Devloping Iaa for but for selfish reasons. The Survialists began evacuating the natives to camps for protection as many as 95% of nativies agreed to reside in the camps out of fear of the LoD. After 3 years of keeping nativies protected the LoD raid the biggest camp known as The Gavia Portection for those seeking Asylum. The LoD inforcements killed over 99% of life in the camp inclouding the Survialists. This cuased a war between the two factions With The Survialists aiming to free the nativies from what they viewed as the universe biggest threat which was part of their own spices.

  • (Fear) "LoD member 2270 contacting the Universal Exapnadsire Project mangers. There's been a disagreement between us on how to explore this plannet and it doen't look like it's being resolved any time soon. Please contact the entire team as soon as you can. Or I fear there will be more than one group here... 

  • (Angry) "It's intilgant you can't.... (Fear and anger) What have you done! You're lucky we don't kill you right now."

  • (Angry/Surprised) "We've been raided! Survialists they killed the innocent ones. The woman. The children. Everyone... Accept me. I got away but I know their looking for me and I'm ready to shoot to kill.  So I ask you join me. Wipe the murders out one by one.
