(Unpaid project) Across The Mirrorverse (Eddsworld) - VAs needed
Project Overview
"What if alternate universes could hang out for a bit? Would be CRAZY!"
Across The Mirrorverse is a retake of a well-known Fan-Eddisode created by the team behind The Eddsworld Fan Movie, called Best of Both Worlds as a mini-episode made to keep fans waiting while the now-cancelled film was in production, in honor of the british web series created in 2003 by the late Edd Gould.
As for the Eddisode itself, it is somewhat divided, mainly due to the romantic relationship between Edd and Ell (Vicky Gould, Ell's voice actress in that video, was Edd Gould's sister).
The Project:
As mentioned in the thumbnail, this project is a retake of the Eddisode, with a new script and a proper art style. Despite the controversies that arose, I am not seeking to make this project an ‘improved’ version of the original Eddisode because, at the end of the day, it has its merits, but as I mentioned earlier, it is divisive within the community.
(I am aware that although this Eddisode is not part of the community canon and what was mentioned above about the people behind it, I, along with others, will make our own shot.)
This also serves as a pilot for an Ellsworld fan series. So you got the idea.
About the casting:
The main thing I'm looking for are voices for the four characters from the original series (yes, including Tord, who appears in a post-credits scene).
And I will be looking for voices that resemble the original era of Edd Gould (2003-2012), considering how difficult kind of is to find voices that can resemble them, since each one has a very distinctive voice. I am not looking for replicas that are 100% accurate, but rather voices that resemble the original actors. The rest of the characters who appear in the casting are characters who have less screen time, though.
While the female counterparts already have their respective voices, the same applies to other characters such as Eduardo.
Requirements and Guidelines/Rules:
You must be at least 16 years old to audition: I mention this because a fairly common problem among Eddsworld voice dubs is that people under the age of 15 do not yet have the necessary voice to voice the characters or the necessary accent (British English). Apart from the fact that the characters have distinctive voices, they are portrayed as young adults (especially after 2008).
About the microphone: I don't demand much, since one of the characteristics of Eddsworld before 2012 is that the characters did not necessarily have clean audio quality (especially Tord). However, there can be no background noise and the quality must exceed 16000Hz. AND so long as the lines can be understood.
Discord is one of the places where I am active: So you need to have an account so that once you are selected, we can work there.
For the fan series, it is going to be a long-term project. I mention this so that people can decide whether they want to continue after the pilot or not. Also for any additional content such as shorts, animatics, etc.
There is NO deadline, and the deadline set in CCC is not final.
With all this, it would be to complete the voices and get the animatic ready, since I had been planning both the fan series and the retake since the summer of 2025. Xpglitz is also helping for the writing too!

Age: 26 to 29.
Personality: Usually the leader of the group. Quite carefree, adventurous, sometimes self-centred, but most of the time he's pretty chill. He is obsessed with Cola and is devoted to his drawings, doing what he likes. However, he can be unhinged and chaotic sometimes, as he has no qualms about playing practical jokes even on his friends.If he doesn't make puns, he makes crude or sharp jokes. He doesn't see himself as a hero though, but more as an antihero. He can treat the people around him well, but depending on the situation, he can even hit you, like when he fought with Tord over the last piece of bacon.
Tone: Tenor
Voice reference: Edd Gould. He's soft spoken, With a calm, relaxed, laid-back and slightly nasal voice. But being soft-spoken, when he screams, his voice can strain sometimes.

Oh, Tord? Yeeeahh... he moved away, we haven't heard from him in quite a while.
Age: 23 to 26
Personality: He is narcissistic, careless, reckless, but quite ambitious. A person full of himself who prefers himself to others. Although he may be dim-witted at times, he can be intelligent and manipulative when it comes to making plans to the point of leading zombies as in Zombeh Attack. Someone who thinks all women fall for him. Despise being a person full of himself, he can be a nice person depending on his mood.
Tone: Between Tenor and Lyrical Baritone
Voice reference: Matt Hargreaves. He has a whiny, lighter, bright and slightly nasal voice. A voice that can be sometimes smooth talking like Johnny Bravo. However, I want to make a balance between his voice from the classic era and from Legacy, not too higher, but not too deep either. Hammer and Fail and WTFuture are the best examples.

Age: 21 to 24
Personality: Tom can usually be someone who is from witty, pessimistic, cynical, deadpan-sarcastic, to silly, with a rather affectionate side to his personality. Most of the time, he can be uncaring, dry, and prefers to mind his own business rather than deal with everyone else's mess. He is not always bitter, as he can also be very witty and even crazy depending on the situation, sometimes even going so far as to loot. Tom likes to drink Smirnoff and has a guitar named Susan, which he is very fond of.
Tone: Between Light-Baritone or Baritenor.
Voice reference: Thomas "TomSka" Ridgewell. This one is a bit easier since his voice is quite distinctive from his Asdf videos. A voice that is usually deep or bassy, and a bit mumbly. However, sometimes can be energetic, as in Asdf.

Age: 25 to 28
Personality: Before The End, Tord was the edgy one in the group, a "Trigger-Happy" guy from Norway addicted to guns and hentai, as well as being the quietest. He considers himself as a chaoslord. He's a Hot-Headed person who can get angry easily and will resort to violence without exception. Someone who can be hormonal, flirtatious but at the same time somewhat introverted. He is very loyal to Edd though. One of his greatest fears is the song ‘Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows’. He is usually considered a violent guy.
Tone: Tenor
Voice reference: Tord Larsson/KalashniCola. Before The End, He had a soft, expressionless, monotonous tone, frequently a relaxed voice that doesn't need too much emotions. With a Norweigan Accent that differs him from the rest of the group.

Now, I want to clarify one thing about the accent. Many people tend to confuse Larsson's accent with the one Jamie Spencer Lewis gave him in The End, which is a pseudo-Russian accent. As for Larsson, who is of Norwegian descent, he does have an accent, but it is not as pronounced as Jamie Spencer's.
