After graduation, four best friends — Caspian, Kendra, Ashton, and Emi — trade city life for an unforgettable summer at Sterling Shores, a tropical island resort famous for its crystal waters and the legend of the Undines — ancient merfolk who once protected the seas.
But Caspian has a secret: he is one of them.
he’s spent his whole life feeling caught between two worlds. On the island, strange forces begin to awaken. As his powers grow and new friends emerge from the ocean depths, Caspian is pulled into a quest to uncover the truth of his origins… and the fate of the Undines who came before him.

Grounded and intuitive, Kendra is the emotional anchor of the group. She has a natural gift for reading people and spotting when something’s off, even when they don’t say a word. Protective over her friends, she’s the first to call someone out for keeping secrets — but she’s also the one who will sit quietly with you until you’re ready to talk. Kendra wants their summer to be perfect… but she’s starting to sense that Caspian’s hiding more than he lets on.

Luke is Sterling Shores’ friendly tour guide, always quick with a smile and a story about the island’s hidden gems. To most, he’s the kind of guy you can trust without question — warm, charismatic, and eager to help.
But there’s something beneath the surface. His knowledge of the island’s myths runs a little too deep, and sometimes his questions feel less like curiosity and more like searching. While he plays the part of the perfect host, there’s a flicker in his eyes that suggests he’s after more than just giving tourists a good time.

She has a magnetic presence — part charm, part quiet wisdom — and often acts as the voice of reason in tense situations. While she embraces human culture, she never forgets her roots, carrying the ocean’s secrets close to her heart.

While his charm keeps things light, Ashton’s sense of loyalty runs deep — and once he catches wind of something strange happening in Sterling Shores, he’s determined to get to the bottom of it.

His violet-hued tail and powers tied to the deep northern waters make him a formidable force, but his guarded nature hides a fierce protective instinct. Over time, he must learn that strength isn’t just about shielding his family — it’s about letting others in.
