Hello all, and welcome to the Casting Call for the Undertale Cinematic Dub!
For those of you curious, this premise of this project is to combine sound effects, improved textures and high quality fan covers to create a more pleasing passive viewing experience of the game Undertale without replacing the original source material. In so many words: games are meant to be experienced in their original state, and I stand by that. That's why most dubs feel sorta bland. So this dub will cover the main story (Full Pacifist Run) with higher production values while encouraging players to engage in the original experience themselves.
With that said, what's a good dub without some great voice actors? ^.^
That's where you come in! Please audition below, critique me on things that need done and just HAVE FUN!!!

RULES/GUIDELINES FOR THE AUDITIONS:

1. No bullying, harassing or downplaying others' auditions. Treat others who audition with respect. Any signs of this will terminate your chances to being cast.
2. Read the character description to help give you an idea on what the character looks and acts like. You may record as many takes, for a line, as you want.
3. When auditioning, it is recommended to use a high quality recording device. It doesn't have to be the best, but we need to be able to hear you with the lowest amount of background noise or ambiance.
4. If you want to redo your audition, please mention that ASAP in the comments..
5. You are allowed to audition for as many characters as you'd like.
6. It is encouraged to give constructive feedback to fellow auditions, and help give advice or suggestions. Please be mindful of what you say to others.
7.Please keep troll auditions to a minimum. If you leave a joke audition, be tasteful and keep it within an acceptable volume range.
8. If you have any questions, email/message the director or ask in the comment section.

A smooth, somewhat snarky female voice capable of reading mundane dialogue trees in a unique way. Preferable that you've worked with similar text-heavy projects before such as audio books. You don't need any defining feature about your voice. Though you are still a character in your own right, so be prepared to give a varied performance.

Let's face it, the guy is Skeletor... or at least he tries to channel Skeletor through the bombastic, showy performance he puts on as a "human hunting fanatic". Though in truth, he is more enthusiastic than anything. Because he, more often than not, gets emotional or dramatic and occasionally makes snide remarks. As a result, this should be a very showy performance with highs and lows depending on the situation.
So... Imagine, if you will... The boosted voice of skeletor with the performance of a Monty Python skit.
Human!!! You shall not pass this area!!! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, will stop you!!! I will then capture you! You will be delivered to the capital! Then... then...

*Please note the age I have listed, most of these characters are all essentially thousands of years old, but some of them need both young and old voices to work in a dub. I'm looking for for a voice anywhere in the 20-35 year old range. Not a child or pre-teen.*
Weeaboo-Scientist-Lizard-Lady. If that sounds like something you're into, step right up!She's has a very nervous disposition, talks incredibly fast at times and desperately searches for approval.
But in a nutshell, your performance can vary but it probably should be pretty nervous, slightly nasally and very enthusiastic.
S-So... Ahhhh, now I want to help you! Using my knowlege, I can easily guide you through the Hotland! I know a way right to Asgore's Castle! N-no problem!

A genuinely creepy character who stalks you in suit of intimidating armor with murderous intent for about an hour and a half of playtime before finally confronting you in a pretty awesome battle. After she is defeated (if you spare her) she is a pretty normal... Brash, tomboyish type character as far as voice direction goes.
I've READ all of Alphy's human history book collection! I know All ABOUT your 'giant swords' ...your colossal alien fighting robots... your supernatural princesses... (Note-2/20/2017-She is not yelling this line. She's giving a monologue.)

An entertainment robot with two different personalities/modes and, consequently, two different voices. This one is a trivia/game show host with super charged, irresistible charisma and a pension for murder.
I'll be selecting whoever has the most charm and murderous undertone in their performance. NOT whoever adds in the most crappy robot effects to their voice. THAT WILL NOT SOMEHOW AWARD YOU BONUS POINTS. So don't do it! >.<
Why would someone outfit an amusment robot... with BRUTAL COMBAT CAPABILITIES?!

The second edition of Mettaton is a hyper-sensual model who literally transforms himself with one of the only three voice clips available in the game: "Ooooooohhhh.... Yeeeeaaahhhh...."
Your performance could be somewhere in George Tekai or seductive anime creeper range. You be the judge. Just don't go so effeminate that the character is taken into parody territory.

Basically this character has the voice and disposition of a teenager who thinks the world is utterly hopeless. The, hipster kind of kid who listens to music and uses the word dapper both ironically and unironically at the same time but still manages to be emo. A deep, somewhat nasally voice that is in an almost constant, bored, sigh. A bit of cynicism added mixed in might help your performance stand out a bit, as long as it doesn't seem too mean.
This is a ghost sandwhich.

A little monster who has a morbid fasination with Undyne. It's super enthusiastic and tends to fall flat on it's face. (Litterally... It's kind of adorable)
If I had an ideal voice to put to this character, it would be Kristen Shaal (doing a slightly toned down Mabel from Gravity Falls)
