Undertale Dub - Leads
Project Overview
After a successful run with my Deltarune Dub, I'm pleased to announce to also be doing a Undertale Dub! You may also notice the "musical" in the title, because there will be opportunities to sing in this dub, and that's why some roles have a sample song to sing as well as lines to perform. While most of the solos will be going to the leads, there are opportunities for the ensemble as well as solos during group songs. Undertale has a special place in my heart, and I'm excited to bring it to life!
Here are a few rules before we start!
- Have a decent mic quality. It doesn't have to be fancy, just intelligible!
- Please put your Discord user and tag in your submission comment. (Please note that I will be doing callbacks, so your Discord user and tag are necessary for contact if you are called back.)
- Please include 2-3 takes of each line. If the line is long, 1-2 takes will do.
- Try your best and have fun! :D
If you don't see a lead character on here, that means they are already cast.
I will be posting the leads first, then the supporting roles, then the extras/minor roles, and finally the editor, audio engineer, etc. roles. So stay tuned!!

Accidental Leak
Since this project was accidentally leaked before I was going to publish it (which was my fault!), I'm publishing it now so that anyone can audition! Please note that since this was supposed to be released later, I will not be doing much when the leads are cast for this dub until my team in the Deltarune Dub have released episodes, etc. Thank you!

The Narrator/Chara

The narrator is pretty self-explanatory. It is believed that the narrator and the child we find at the end of genocide, Chara, are one in the same.
You took a piece of candy. (Press [C] to open the menu.) You took more candy. How disgusting… You take another piece. You feel like the scum of the earth… You took too much too fast. The candy spills onto the floor. Look at what you've done.
The convenience of that lamp still fills you with determination.

Flowey is the main antagonist for the game. Later, it is revealed that Flowey is the presumed dead prince, Asriel. While they are both the same being, they have vastly different personalities. I am looking for a voice actor who can give a stark contrast between these two personalities.

Flowey: I remember when I first woke up here, in the garden. I was so scared. I couldn't feel my arms or my legs… My entire body had turned into a flower! "Mom! Dad! Somebody help me!" I called out. But nobody came. Eventually, the king found me, crying in the garden. I explained what had happened to him. Then he held me, he held me with tears in his eyes, saying… There, there. Everything is going to be alright. He was so... Emotional. But... For some reason… I didn't feel anything at all.[I apologize, Asriel talks a lot. One take of this paragraph will do!]
Asriel: Frisk… Hey. Let me ask you a question. Frisk... Why did you come here? Everyone knows the legend, right...? "Travellers who climb Mt. Ebott are said to disappear." Frisk. Why would you ever climb a mountain like that? Was it foolishness? Was it fate? Or was it... Because you...? Well. Only you know the answer, don't you...? I know why Chara climbed the mountain. It wasn't for a very happy reason. Frisk. I'll be honest with you. Chara hated humanity. Why they did, they never talked about it. But they felt very strongly about that. Frisk... You really ARE different from Chara. In fact, though you have similar, uh, fashion choices… I don't know why I ever acted like you were the same person. Maybe... The truth is… Chara wasn't really the greatest person. While, Frisk… You're the type of friend I wish I always had. So maybe I was kind of projecting a little bit. Let's be honest. I did some weird stuff as a flower.

Toriel is our lovely goat mom of the game. She is one of the first monsters we meet, and most are instantly won over by her charm, grace, and kind heart.
Her character demands a sweet, motherly tone with a regal and classy air. She was the queen, after all!
I am Toriel, caretaker of the Ruins. I pass through this place every day to see if anyone has fallen down. You are the first human to come here in a long time. I will do my best to ensure your protection during your time here. Come! I will guide you through the catacombs.
Pathetic, is it not? I cannot save even a single child... No, I understand. You would just be unhappy staying down here. The ruins are very small once you get used to them... It would not be right for you to grow up in a place like this. My expectations... my loneliness... my fear... For you, my child... I will put them aside.

Actually, the cup I had is cold now. So you shouldn't have it. But, I am so happy you said yes. As soon as I can, I will make some more for you. Then we can be great pals.

I remember the day after my son died. The entire underground was devoid of hope. The future had once again been taken from us by the humans. In a fit of anger, I declared war. I said that I would destroy any human that came here. I would use their souls to become godlike… ... and free us from this terrible prison. Then, I would destroy humanity… And let monsters rule the surface, in peace. Soon, the people's hopes returned. My wife, however, became disgusted with my actions. She left this place, never to be seen again. Truthfully… I do not want power. I do not want to hurt anyone. I just wanted everyone to have hope… I cannot take this any longer. I just want to see my wife. I just want to see my child. Please... Young one… This war has gone on long enough. You have the power… Take my soul, and leave this cursed place.
