Trauma Center: The Manga Series (Manga Dub) V2
Project Overview
Greetings everyone! Yellow Rose Productions is here for another round of casting for the Trauma Center: The Manga Series dub. =) We are finally ready to start looking for voices of characters that will be appearing in the second volume of this series. (And from the third volume.) Some major, some minor but all important. We look forward to hearing what you guys can do!
For those not in the know, here is what our series is about:
Based of the Atlus franchise of the same name, Trauma Center follows the story of Dr. Derek Stiles, a doctor who has recently finished his residency is ready to help all he can. However, while things go on as normal, things take a strange turn when a secret power in him awakens that allows him to perform miraculous healing abilities and he quickly finds himself caught up in battle against a mysterious ailment and the organization that created it.
We are looking for the following for all actors:
- Quality audio
- Good work ethic and will meet deadlines when given
- Passion
- Ability to say difficult words. (It's a medical drama so it's a given. Also some other things. Fret not, we will tell you how to pronounce them.)

Asclepius is the God of Medicine. Teacher to many, and guide to those who have the Healing Touch, like Derek. He's very patient and it's very rare to see him genuinely irritated or mad with anyone. We're looking for a very warm, gentle fatherly voice. Middle to lower range. Someone who anyone feels they could approach when needing help or guidance.
(Amused Tone) "I must say, you've caught on rather quickly. Not bad at all for an apprentice."
(Warm Tone) "You’ll get used to it with time. Just be patient. Your mind is still not used to so much stress being put on it. You’ll grow into it."
(Comforting Tone) "If you ever feel lost, call out to me and I will be there. May the stars above light your path, Derek Stiles."
Cybil Myers is an anesthesiologist and therapist at Caduceus. A very no nonsense kind of woman. She can be friendly and can crack wise but when it's time to get down to business she knows how to command a room. We're looking for a middle range voice. That had confidence in every word that she says and knows exactly what she's talking about when asked.
(Calming Tone) "Just remember to breathe and be yourself. People listen to you, whether you believe it or not Derek… and if all else fails, fake it till you make it."
(Serious Tone) "Oh, sweetheart, I'm not doing this by myself. You're helping."
(Nostalgic) "*chuckles* Good ol’ Greg. Now, that guy was one heck of a public speaker. Always confident, good jokes and knew how to keep people’s attention."
Twin brother (Younger brother by like a minute) to Greg Kasal. He's the Chief Surgeon at Caduceus USA. He's a bit more formal than his brother but still has a similar warmth to his voice, allowing him to comfort patients and rally his team when the time arises. We're looking for a confident sounding voice, middle range. (If possible but not required, sound a bit similar to the voice we have Greg Kasal. See playlist above.)
(Welcoming Tone) "Pleasure to have you both here. I've heard a lot about you two from Greg."
(After introducing Derek and Angie) "I expect you all to show them the same respect you show each other."
(Concerned Tone) "Cybil… keep him from doing anything stupid."
"Lycan" is a member of the organization of Delphi. He's one of their lead researchers... though isn't there by choice. Under threat of something happening to his daughter, he is compliant in their demands. He speaks with confidence in his work but there's always slight undertone of regret in what he's doing. He tries to convince himself that what Delphi is doing is logical as a means of coping but he knows it will never be the case. We're looking for a deep voice, that has been beaten into submission. Not emotionless but sounds broken.
(Slightly Amazed) "Interesting… They got farther than I would’ve expected. I’m impressed…"
(Dreadful Tone) "It was a victory and a defeat… Regardless, things will continue as normal. You know what’s coming."
(Somber Tone) "Whatever will be... will be. So, just follow orders and keep your head down."
Langston Miller is the Director of Caduceus Europe. He's a very proper man and is passionate about the advancement of medicine. We're looking for a very firm middle to low range voice for him. Someone who is very formal in how he speaks.
(Warm Welcoming Tone) "Ah, Dr. Stiles. Glad to finally meet you properly. Welcome to Rubora."
(Formal, Giving a Speech) "We may have cured many diseases with the advent of genetic engineering but with the appearance of G.U.I.L.T., it is clear to all of us that disease can evolve at a rapid pace under the right circumstances."
(Firm) " We’ll take it from here, Dr. Stiles. You go rest. You must be exhausted from pushing your Healing Touch to its limit. "
