Traitor: Ink Escapists (PREQUEL STORY ARC #2)
Project Overview
THIS IS INTENDED FOR 17+. GRAPHIC DEPICTIONS OF GORE, NUDITY AND SEXUAL THEMES WILL BE PRESENT.
TRAITOR: INK ESCAPISTS focuses on 14 year old Kate Templeton, who has a run-in with a 15 year old brute, Michael Andrel. The two work together as they join a popular animation studio, where Kate's father, Connor, happens to work at. But despite this calm and friendly atmosphere, danger isn't far behind. A man from the past has escaped the studio's catacombs and wishes harm against Connor, placing Katelyn as his target. Connor tries to keep the creature under wraps as long as possible until Mike and Kate accidentally intervene. The story spans across mid-2019 to late 2020. This will be in digital animatic-style formating. (This project will not have it's first episode for a while, hence the long amount of time)

There are currently 5 remaining roles left for this series that need to be filled in order to for me to continue into the video portions. Promoting the project in Discord servers, Twitter, and other social media helps boost auditions a lot! Thanks! -Charmer
Mike comes off as snarky, confident, and funny. He tries his best to get on Connor's good side when first meeting him. He speaks with a british accent, should sound deep, but not too deep.
(Confident) I'm Michael..Michael Andrel.
(Angry) Hey jackass, what was that about Kate?
(Joking; directed at sister) Oh yeah, she's dead. *starts laughing*
Kate seems vunerable, but can actually woop anyone's ass if she wants to. (And quite easily too) Has too big of a crush on Mike. Should sound confident most of the time. She's prone to getting easily cornered by her personal bully. She also comes off as rebellious.
(Inner Thoughts) Who is this guy? He's huge! Wait..am I blushing?!
(Scared) HEY! OPEN THE DOOR! LET US OUT!
DAD!
Miles is a good friend of Mike's that accompanies him and Kate on their adventure. He normally acts like the most normal one out of the heroes. He enjoys pulling stunts and such like things he's seen on TikTok (Him and Mike light a gas can on fire and toss it down a sewer drain to "fuck up Pennywise").
The names Miles! Nice to meet ya!
Ma! I'm going out for a bit! I'll be back later!
(Taken back) What?! I'm not stubborn! I just don't feel like getting ripped apart by that thing!
Mariana is another lead hero. She is normally the smart one in situations. She speaks some spanish at times whenever frustrated or annoyed. She is prone to questioning basically anything Mike or Miles have for ideas, finding their plans idiotic or stupid. She speaks with a hispanic accent due to her family's heritage.
(Annoyed) Oh buen dolor
(Concerned about Mike's idea) Are you okay?
(Sees Miles picking up a picture off the family ofrenda) HEY, HEY, HEY! PUT THAT DOWN!
Connor is the father of Kate. He serves as the gaurdian of her and Mike. He speaks with a stern voice, sometimes raising it if Kate disagrees with him on something. He is overall friendly, but skeptical on a few things.
How the hell did you get out?!
Look, Mike: There's a few things I want you to know: 1. What you and Kate saw is between us and my wife. 2. Never go back down there again. Understand?
(Inner Thoughts) This kid...he's different from some of the other boys Kate goes to school with. He's got charm..a little too much charm. I should keep an eye on him. For all I know, he could be preparing to pull a fast one on her..
This character is planned of being kept secret until his reveal. At the moment, he'll be named "The Hooded Skull", a simple callback to his appearance. The Hooded Skull plays a massive role in the final stretch of Ink Escapists. Any accent is on the table for this character. He often portrays a cold, scornful, and hate-filled personality, serving to enforce dominance to humanity. (FYI, this mystery man isn't a human)
The man who killed Kennedy ended his life this way too. I think his name was Lee Harvey Oswald? Dead men tell no tales. That's how history always works out.
You were one move...too late...Michael Andrel.
Just as the Earth has a proven 7 to 3 ratio between land and sea, it is said that there is a definite number of living organisms on Earth... It can be said that as the population of mortal humans increase, proportionally, an equal number of other organisms die out... Therefore, retaining the set number life that is allowed to live on Earth. But... if there was a way.. for one human being to possess those lives, those millions of lives... What do you think that person would be able to see? What does the future hold for that person? Your answer: The future holds success and glory.
Alice is Mike's twin sister. She is a talented skater as well as a brainy ally. Normally not getting mixed up in the conflicts, she is captured by the villain alongside Connor and Rose towards the end of the series as bait for Mike, Kate, Mariana, and Miles. she speaks with a british accent.
Move it! Girl on a skateboard coming through!
Mike, don't do that! He's waiting for you to do that!
What the- Did time just..skip..?
A supporting villian, Daniella is Kate's personal bully, picking on her until Mike arrives. Later, she is forced to become a pawn for the central villian. She speaks with an annoying voice, basically anything that would bug the crap out of someone.
Oh really? Hey, Carlos, gimme your pocket knife, I'm gonna carve a little message into Templeton's arm here.
(Frantic) Listen, I have limited time to tell you this: There's a creature looking for you. He wants something called a "stinger" I'm not sure what it is..
(Scared/Confused) Wh-What are you doing in my house..? (Starts sobbing) What did you do to my boyfriend?!
Rose Templeton is the wife of Connor Templeotn and the mother of Kate. She is sweet and friendly. She speaks with a light tone, barely raising her voice. She is prone to getting startled easily.
CONNOR!
Connor, I think Mike good for her. He's not rebellious at all.
*Screams as villian charges at her in anger*
Olivia Buckland is a supporting ally throughout Ink Escapists. She is the first victim of the villain, who went on a killing spree through the body of Anthony Rodgers in Crimson Gem. She now resides as a ghost, doomed to walk the streets of NYC until worthy souls find her and make sure her killer pays. She is composed, genial, and caring. She weeps hurtfully when meeting Mike and Kate and discussing how her killer is still operating and if anything going after them.
Look, you two: I can't do anything to stop my killer, but you can. I'm nothing but a ghost, forced to simply watch as this man continues walking among us.
Hm..you two will live happy together.
[In tears] It's happened again. The monster that killed me has struck again. WHY?!
Amy Cunningham is a supporting character in Ink Escapists. She is Robin Cunningham's indifferent housewife and Mason's mother. Her dull life is brightened when her husband mysteriously changes his demeanour and her love for her husband is renewed, unaware that Robin is in fact the villain in disguise, who murdered Robin and took his identity to lay low from Mike, Kate, and Connor.
Amy has a personality closer to that of a younger woman than a responsible mother, detesting her marriage. While she felt no hatred towards Robin, her relationship with him was cold and full of regret. She wished for more excitement in her life and often lashed out at her husband and son out of frustration. Though she resents her son for trapping her in her marriage, she occasionally reaches out to him, only to be ignored. She is very pleased when he finally begins to return her affection.
However, once her husband's appearance is stolen, her relationship with her "husband" improved as his new sudden care for her. From cooking meals and overpaying the landlord, Amy's romantic affections for her "husband" are rekindled, excited by his sudden change in personality.
My name's Amy Cunningham. I'm about 32 years old. I met my husband, Robin when he arrived at Harvard. All my friends thought he was cool and quirky and told me to go out with him. I guess I fell in love with him..we go married, had a kid, and now here I am. Since we moved in together, he's been the quiest person I've ever met. That and his son's no better.
*hears door unlocking* [sighs] great..he's home. I guess I have to spend another night with that insensitive ass.. The only words he ever says between getting home from work and leaving the next morning are "food", "bath", and "sleep". It's too much trouble to turn and greet him. I'll just pretend I didn't notice. I have no interest in you at all. It'd be better if you never came back home, you cheap bastard.
For some reason, he's changed. He actually talks, he acknowledges me even being here..Hell, he even made dinner..and it actually tasted good! Whatever's happening to my husband..I..I love it..
Mason Cunningham is the brave and intelligent son of Amy Cunningham. He is quiet when he wants to be, but i willing to be brave if needed, going as far as standing up towards the villain, almost blowing his cover and getting killed. I'd rather have a female voice actress since he's in 5th Grade. (If you can do a good high pitched voice, I'll go with it too.)
My dad..is not my dad..
Mom, I have to tell you something...
You hear this, jackass! Stay away from my mom and you stay away from me! Got it?!
Jacob Polk is a supporting antagonist throughout Ink Escapists. He is extremly patriotic, believing that experiments on humans can unlocked "superhuman abilities" and help America's armies, as he has a patent with the military branch to advertise war efforts (if any happen to arise). He is extremly egotistical and arrogant. Polk is a ruthless individual, bent on containing the villain and his cronies so his reputation isn't tarnished. He should sound similar to a 1920's radio announcer (Listen to Alastor from Hazbin Hotel for reference).
That...bastard! He escaped the catacombs again. I know him too well, he's not gonna stay inside the studio any longer...he's going to try leaving..if he hasn't already..
This is society… who are the ones who determine the price of land first? There must have been someone determined the value of money, first. The size of the rails on a train track? The magnitude of electricity? Laws and regulation? Who was the first one to determine those things? Did we all do it, because this is a republic? Or was it arbitrary? No!
Power! Glory! Happiness! Culture! Law! Money! Food! The hearts of the people! I have taken the first silverware! Victory is mine!
Lucas Templeton is Connor's older brother and Katelyn's uncle. He is a deputy on the NYPD and aids the heroes during the final battle with his task force. He speaks with a gruff demeanor.
Men, load your guns.
[Villain is throwing things at them] Connor, where the hell is this guy?!
THERE! FIRE!
Haruto was born in Japan and lived there until he was 10, when his parents moved to America. He still tries adjusting to the new setting. He is meek and extremely introverted.
Oh yeah! I'm just new here! My parents decided to move here from Japan a few years ago.
(Scared) I'm sorry...
MISTER POLK!
The Hot Dog Vendor is an extra charactr only featured in the first episode. He speaks with a bostonian accent and is seen selling hot dogs to Mike and Alice at the start of the episode.
What?! You've never had a genuine hot dog?
Tell you what, this one's on the house!
That group right there, they're real trouble makers. They've been tormenting that poor girl so much..
Mr. Fick is an archaeological teacher at Mike and Kate's school. He teaches the class one session about Eldritch Stingers, which increases Mike and Kate's knowledge of such during the final battle. He should sound somewhat enthusiastic, but bored in his job.
Alright, class. Today, we're gonna talk about ancient artifacts.
This is what archaeologists at a dig I attended labeled as an "Eye Of Anubis". In the late 1800s, researchers in Egypt found a large numbers of these things hidden near the pyramids of Egypt.
Legend has it that if one were to get hit by one of these, they gain some sort of power invisible to the naked eye. Unfortunately for you opportunitsts in the room, this one's probably inactive.
Senator Ghandy is an extra, one-time character showing up in the finale. During a high speed car chase, the villian hijacks the senator's vehicle and forces him to drive it, during said events, Ghandy goes almost completley insane, laughing his head off the whole time. He should sound similar to Charles Martinet (Mario's Official VA).
Oh dear, you young people these days, always acting on your actions instead of thoughts. I'm terribly sorry for my driver, he's a little hotheaded at times.
*Laughs slightly* We can't, you tore out my driver's arm with brute force, sir. But..if it isn't a bother.. *Pulls out a few $20s*..I can offer you some money to hail a taxi- *Gets grabbed by the throat*
B-But, we can't go on the sidewalk..there's people walking home from work..! Look, there's even a little girl..she only looks about 6 or 7, sir..
