With permission from the developers, I’m casting voice actors for a nonprofit fandub of the demo of Touchstarved, a gothic horror visual novel with romantic elements. The story follows a customizable protagonist (named Silvessa for this production) at the beginning of her journey through the fantasy world of Eridia.
This project will take place over several months and is strictly nonprofit, though this project will be completed and participants will receive exposure - Touchstarved has an active fanbase, strong early reception, and an established presence on social media. The game has not yet been released, but it has already gained substantial attention, including a high number of Steam wishlists.

- Must be 17+. Do not interact with this project if you are not 17 or older. If I suspect or catch you lying, you will be removed immediately. This game is dark and has mature themes. It is very important that you are honest
- Like every other project on this website, please have no background noise and minimal echo/reverb/popping in your recordings.
- Have discord for communication purposes
- Be respectful. Wherever you go, whether it's online or in real life, there will be situations or people that you don't like, but you still have to always respect people. I seriously doubt I'll have problems, but I expect you to be a good person by not spreading rumors, hurting feelings, or being unkind to another person. Treat others how you'd like to be treated.
Audition & Casting Guidelines
- Each character's voice range is noted in musical terms, which are more gender neutral friendly.
- Auditioning for multiple characters is very much encouraged and even preferred.
- Multiple takes in your audition is also encouraged but please submit in the AABBCC line format!
- Also, I'm quite curious on how people interpret each character in the main cast - feel free to leave some improv/adlib at the end of your audition (optional) - maybe something you think the character would also say.
- If you are cast, you will receive a discord friend request from me (@sylekko.reborn) by Jan 2nd 11pm EST at the latest (probably earlier). I will both send discord friend requests out to casted people and a message on CCC. If you do not hear from me by the Jan 3rd, and want to know your audition/cast status, want me to provide you feedback, and/or have questions, please send me a message on CCC or by email after Jan 3rd. I will NOT be answering any message requests on discord, as I have been scammed before and I'm not repeating that experience.
- Extras (with like one line or so) are likely to be casted earlier than the main cast, so get your auditions in ASAP lol. You'll be notified the same way - discord message and CCC message. If you get casted for an extra, that doesn't mean you won't be casted for a main cast role.
- If you are not cast, this is NOT a reflection of you, your talent, and capabilities as a voice actor and it does NOT mean I did not like your audition. As a creator myself, I have immense respect for anyone who voice acts, sings, mixes, edits, etc.
- Furthermore, I might reach out to you down the line for other projects I run, especially if I think your voice would fit another character! I always have so many project ideas that I wish I had more time and energy to put out in the world.

About Me:
My name is Silver! Briefly, I am a PhD student in biomedical sciences by day and a singer/audio editor/video editor/very tired person by night. I've covered songs on youtube, I adore visual novel games, journaling and talking/connecting with other people, astrology, tarot. it's the Pisces INFJ nature). My values/goals in life are to spread kindness and to make another person's day better - and hopefully make them smile.
I'm a person of color, chronically ill, a part of a few other underrepresented groups, and neurodivergent - hence why I probably sound very strict / somewhat cold? in this entire description section until now lol (I'm much more laidback than I seem =w=). I do my best to communicate with kindness, compassion, honesty, transparency, clearly stated expectations, and all the finer details lol (I mean, that's my entire job in science so it translates to my creative projects lol).

Previous Project Experience
- I have another fandub of a game called Andromeda Six that was active for several years - before I became much busier with Life ™ (aka started my PhD lol). I'm actually in the works of rebooting it and reworking the pipeline production, which is one reason why I'm doing this project. Unlike Touchstarved, I want to completely cover the entirety of Andromeda Six, which by comparison, is a much bigger project. I feel lucky that people are so patient with me on that front lol. - Please also note that my EQ skills were not the best back in the day — I promise they've much improved lol (check my singing covers)
- I've also had a lot of experience with singing covers - while not exactly the same as fandubs, it's still audio editing - timing, cleaning up audio, EQ, reverb, sfx, etc. and it's still project organization, leadership, and strong communication.
