Project Overview
What is this?
This project is for fans of Toradora who want to dub over some of the scenes/fanworks made for the series! It's alright to audition if you haven't gotten into it yet, but do watch it when you get the chance!
Synopsis: (taken from the wiki)
Ryuji Takasu is frustrated at trying to look his best as he enters his second year of high school. Despite his gentle personality, his eyes give him the appearance of an intimidating delinquent. They meet Yusaku's childhood friend Ami Kawashima, a popular teen model who transfers into their school.
Requirements:
Generally, I'm not very strict with these. I just ask that your mic sounds clear, and honestly, as long as it's not a phone microphone. This isn't necessarily required, but I do ask that you have a pop filter. The only reason for that is it'll sound more crisp without the air getting pushed into the microphone.
Also, I'm not strict with age requirements- However, I do ask that you do be mature, and luckily this anime (unlike everything else we've done) is a little bit lighter.

Ryuji often helps Taiga Aisaka with domestic chores which she is otherwise unable to perform. At school, he is known as "the only person able to stop the palmtop tiger", referring to Taiga's nickname. Due to the misunderstandings due to his looks, as well as how he grew up, he tends to look down on himself. Despite this, Ryuji is rather calm in most situations and is responsible, smart and has great grades, even when compared to Yusaku Kitamura (Ryuji's best friend). While initially seen as intimidating by most others, he makes more friends. His feelings and relationship to Taiga begin to change as he spends more time with her throughout the series. Eventually, he and Taiga become a couple and they got married (which now makes her Taiga Takasu) so in that way they can both be adults.

Taiga Aisaka is the main female protagonist of the Toradora! series. Due to her often snapping at others in brutal ways and her short stature, she is given the nickname "Palmtop Tiger". Essentially, Taiga is meant to be a deconstruction of the tsundere, showing rapid mood swings, being emotionally unstable, and making poor decisions based solely on emotions. Her steady progress into becoming sweet and kind defies the "bipolar" stereotype of most tsundere characters, who often switch from moods and show no true character development.

Minori is very athletic and is the captain of the girl's softball club at school, and, in the later part of the series, the captain of the merged boys and girls softball team. Her energy is a never-ending flow, and this energy is extremely shown in her personality. She is usually cheerful, if not always and knows exactly how to turn a mistake into a thing to be happy about or laughed at. At the same time, she holds many part time jobs, like a mobile phone stylist, a waitress at a family restaurant, a clerk at a convenience store, steam boat store and at a karaoke box. Later on in the series, she reveals that she is working hard because she does not want to be a hindrance to anyone. Her ultimate goal for saving money it to get into a sports university and aim for the national softball league. She is a glutton when it comes to food, but is also constantly combating with dieting, calling herself a 'diet warrior'. This (again) reflects her energetic personality. She gets a thrill out of being scared, unlike most people. She also seems to have a very high amount of skill in that regard. Whether it's acting scared or scaring others.

Ami always wants people to see her as a simple, beautiful and sweet girl where one of whom is always kind and generous towards others, although this is just a scam. In fact, she is a arrogant girl who will not hesitate to use abusive language towards others and she even tries to make amends if someone sees her true personality, because she is uncertain about her dual personality. Ami is also seen as very wise indeed as she has seen through the romantic attraction of Taiga Aisaka, Ryuuji Takasu and Minori Kushieda to each other. Ami is shown dropping hints and tips on them, trying to indirectly tell them about their situation, without hurting them.

Yusaku is a male student in Ryuuji Takasu's class and his best friend who is also the vice-president of the student council (and eventually becomes the class president), the class representative, and captain of the boy's softball club at school. He has a diligent personality and thinks he's poor at talking to girls, though Ryuuji observes otherwise. During his time as the vice-president of the student council, he eventually falls in love with Sumire Kano (the student council president). A running gag is that he will appear out of nowhere behind Taiga and Ryuji when they are discussing a "plan of attack" to get their crushes. Like Minori Kushieda, he has an unusual personality, but it's an expression of his friendship and appreciation, though it can easily get out of hand fast.
