Project Overview

Like the title says, this will be a comic dub of the new spinoff manga Tokyo Mew Mew Au Lait. As there are only three chapters at the point of starting this project, there may be a delay in casting roles. We'll update as new characters are introduced into the story.

This series follows five high school boys that transform into animal-themed superheroes, as well as their on-site support Anzu, who gives helpful tips on how to take down certain species of animals and plants.

We will be going off the assumption that you have some knowledge of this manga, but if you need to know what it's about we have the download links for you to read it.

We will require you to have a decent quality mic, but previous acting experience isn’t necessary. Just give it your best shot! Also, we want you to have fun in the role(s) you have, this project is for fun after all, so don’t be afraid to let loose! Once we approve your audition, we will send you a link to our Discord and there we will discuss your role further. We look forward to working with you on this project! - Starry <3

  • UPDATE ON AUDITION LINES & ETC

    Hello all! Just wanted to pop in and update on a few things. First off, progress on the first chapter is going well! Still don’t have a definitive date of release, but hopefully should come out before the end of this year! And second, I have edited the audition lines for Taichi, as his role requires more than just a soft cute voice. He is shown screaming and yelling violently, so you will have that to consider if you are going to play as him. I may edit some of the aliens’ lines in the future, but I will post an update if I do so. Anywho, thanks for reading this through! Progress is slow atm with everything going on, but we aren’t giving up just yet! Hope to share some more updates with you soon! Peace out!

  • Update! (06/25/20)

    Hello all! This project is NOT dead! (Thankfully...) The first episode is still under production, but it has been going slowly. In the time that it's been inactive, we've received chapter 5 and now four more male roles have been added to the list! So if you've auditioned before and didn't make it, here's your chance to try again! Look forward to hearing your lovely auditions! ~Starry~

    Hello all! Casting for the main cast (for now) has been completed and we aren't taking any more auditions for them. However! We will still be open to extras! Thank you for being patient with us, hopefully we will have the project started soon!

(Experiment with casual accents, maybe use Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5 as a possible reference. Also, when transformed, he tends to hiss like a snake at certain parts.)

Energy and strength in abundance, but lacking in common sense, Ryuusei is a ditzy acrobatic teen with a keen sense of smell. He's also quite a sweetheart, helping out with his grandparents and not hesitating to help Anzu when she's in danger.

  • My nose is too good, y'know. Yesterday, I somehow knew what we were having for dinner at my house from 4 kilometers away. 

  • (Angry/determined) Solidly, robustly, I'm burnin' up! In thanks for your service, I'll give ya a huge serving! Shining Dragon!

  • (Cheerful) What is that "Gomodo Dragon" thing? Or was it "kodomo"? If it's a kid, how can it be big? Or was it "kimono"? Why's a dragon wearing clothes?? Or was it "condo"? Why's a dragon need a house?

Finally, the last member of the team, Taichi, has arrived! He's a really shy and quiet middle schooler that gets flustered easily, but can become a real threat if you push him far enough. Despite being young, we think a male teen's voice may suit him, so do your best to give a cute performance as him! Also will need to scream if needed for certain scenes.
